i'm still waiting for borderlands level of quality on the PvE side, and not a Call of Destiny like this game turned out to be.
show me a worthwhile PvE game that can be as good as the borderlands series and i'll show you my money, plain and simple.

Ever heard of Warframe? Imo that game outclasses both Borderlands and Destiny, in terms of the Pve quality.
-
i played it, i honestly got sick of it for a while after the new "relic" system.
-
Why is that? The relic system ain't bad once you got the hang of it. I guess the reason I love it is because I got it all but it's whatever.
-
the traces are hard to get imo, and no group wants to farm with you unless you've upgraded your relic with the top tier trace package which is 100 i think? i'm pretty much done with warframe, especially since farming for a full prime frame/weapon takes forever.
-
But you can probably agree with me that it has a vast PvE side that is relatively better than the one seen in D1, Borderlands though idk still getting into that game.
-
yeah, not to mention it's technically completely F2P outside of cosmetics. Warframe did Destiny better than Destiny.
-
If it was 2015, I would disagree, but in the long-run I agree. I have never touched the Conclave (pvp) ever to get to where I am, what would this indicate? lmfao
-
well i meant it did much better as a futuristic loot shooter (like Destiny was advertised) than Destiny.
-
Can't argue there
-
100% agree Warframe is a very good game
-
Never touched the PvP ever, what does this tell you? lol
-
Which game?
-
Warframe you wingnut lol
-
Wingnut ... could i be a grade 5 nut ?
-
Shit man who knows lol
-
Are you kidding me, Borderlands had nothing even close to the quality of a raid.
-
Edited by Zephyr1895: 5/23/2017 2:25:43 PMit had raid bosses designed for 4 players. oh it also had quests where you could do A and get reward A, or do B and get reward B. it also had quests you could lose, as well as ones with time limits. also class trees were much more fun to play around with, i could either go for a sniper build or a melee build on my Zer0 character. and some bosses actually had more depth than just being bullet sponges, for example Voracidous the Invincible and his rage mode.
-
Those aren't raids
-
Edited by Zephyr1895: 5/23/2017 2:30:46 PMneither are the over-sized strikes in destiny, which are hardly worth it considering how painfully dull they all are.
-
Sure pal
-
unless you can come up with more than one liners i think you don't have much of an argument why the destiny "raids" are so great.
-
Umm cause they actually had raid mechanics?
-
such as?
-
Im not even going to justify that with an answer. If you are comparing the bosses in borderlands to the raid bosses in destiny, then you dont know what a raid is. You can solo the bosses in borderlands, and there are no mechanics, you just straight up shoot them. No teamwork is required. The closest thing to a raid mechanic that borderlands has is you have to shoot them in their weak spot. If you think they are the same thing then thats your problem, I have played both games and see a clear difference in the favor of destiny when it comes to boss fights.

yeah, because Destiny bosses are totally not classic bullet sponges am i right? /s
