Making Destiny 2 run at 30FPS on console is a joke ad on top of that we don't get dedicated servers....
Game developers need to stop this BS and have a universal standard of 60fps for all games, it's 2017!!

The servers would slow down frame rate. No servers but 60fps? Lag would become even more horrible than your worst experiences in destiny, ever. That includes the MTU glitching days. Then there is the issue of regular ps4 and xbone consoles. You would have to downscale frame rates in pvp anyways to keep the player pools together and open, otherwise it feels like they are forcing people to upgrade consoles again to play the game with everyone possible in their console family. Can't set people playing higher frame rate against those playing half that and expect fair interaction. Unfortunately, it sounds like the push for 4K resolution trumped everything else, and that just stupidity at every level, but most people aren't willing to learn why 4K is really unnecessary in most cases and instead just sound off about how it's bigger so it has to be better. Problem is, tvs in 4K resolution have native latencies well into the 40-50ms range at minimum, and good 4K gaming monitors are as expensive as the tvs, and unless you sit within a foot of the screen won't fill enough of your field of view to warrant being that high a resolution (people with perfect vision with no impairments of any sort have a natural field of vision resolution somewhere below an 8k resolution [actually, strictly by the math it's somewhere around 400-500 megapixels, but people cannot discern a difference in resolution, no matter how close, right around a 7-8k resolution, so the technological top end is that, anything else is wasted or unneeded information as far as your brain is concerned], so unless the screen fills about half of your entire field of view, it's a waste).
