They just can't. Too demanding. Like smith said very clearly in an interview. The Ps4 pro cannot play our game at 60fps.

Yet the Xbox one can run games at 60? I honestly don't get that, especially since the PS4 also seems to have no problem running 60 FPS

It's 60 fps and 4k, which isn't achievable for at least the Pro. And since Destiny/Bungie is partnered with Sony, it will not be allowed to be run at a higher framerate on Scorpio.

This is the problem I have with this. Idc about 4k. I'd rather it run at 60 fps 1080p then 30 fps 4k. 4k is less of a priority when it comes to gaming. :-/

Forgot it was at 4K when I commented yesterday. The game will still look better though
-
Right, because the games graphically fidelity is too demanding for consoles.

I see someone came out of hiding to hype the d2 train and fight the realists again lol..

War going on between the pushover sheep and the ppl with sense after that reveal huh.. lol. I was gonna delete the app too.

first of all the 30 fps is this build of the game they still have time to adjust the frame rate . this was the pre alpha/ alpha build it could change in the beta or the final build.

No. You're talking out of your ass.

Doubtful. http://m.ign.com/articles/2017/05/19/destiny-2-ps4-pro-couldnt-run-game-at-60fps

Edited by blev1: 5/19/2017 7:50:13 PMif every other shooter thats come out for the last few years can do it they can too. even if it was just 60fps for crucible that would be fine honestly. sorry i know you're just repeating what they said, i'm just pissed off cause its ridiculous

Edited by badbrain1: 5/20/2017 10:58:10 AMWell think of this way. Those games are older than destiny 2 and destiny isnt exactly the same as those other games. this issue is related to ps4 pro trouble with 4k and 60 frames and its unknown if xbox Scorpio will have this issue. even so i think bungie would want to keep both consoles at par. Maybe they should allow 60 frames but only active on a 1080p tv (which seems to be able to handle it) and switches to 30 frames on 4k.

Switching to 60ps for Crucible would probably -blam!- way too many things up on the tech side.
