It will be utterly disappointing if the speaker and traveler are destroyed. We never got the answers we sought in Destiny 1! All these loose ends kill me.

I think you'll never get those answers. The way I see it this game will never have a cohesive story, it's becoming more and more a shooter in space and that's it.

Destiny wouldn't be Destiny without vague story elements and unfulfilled promises.
