Got hacked...bungie said "you have been banned from crucible for 2 months for bad internet" Im not sure how this came about, im connected to my wireless internet router and have not done anything out of the ordinary.
If someone could please look into this issue and let me know what can be done to fix it, thank you.

what type of router do you have? could it be a netduma R1? if so password protect the UI or you kid might be using it to force himself to be host and then changing the geofilter to kick players outside of it to insta win matches or limit the players on the other team

2 RepliesI gather from some of the other replies you are the father of the player concerned. As a overall comment it appears that your son or someone on his team may have cheated during trials matches. He is then guilty by association and also receives a restriction. If you check his trials matches he has matches where he plays against 1 or 2 players rather than a full team of 3 players. This is extremely suspicious. So the multiple consecutive matches in your trials of osiris history that show you playing against teams of deserters wasn't you? I was born at night, but it wasn't last night. Two months is a slap on the wrist. If that was you playing, not that it matters, but using a DOS attack is a criminal act, not just cheating in a video game. Anyone using DoS attacks should not only be permanently banned but face criminal charges. Let's hope that real justice is served.
