Gun jam glitch
Ok I've played a few games in the last couple days where my gun will either start to fire then stop or won't shoot at all. Is anyone else noticing this?

Last time that happened to me my trigger button on my controller had to be replaced. One of the little side post had broken off.

Either I'll melee and it'll hit and not do damage or, I could LITERALLY be 2 inch's away from them and I'll just melee the air, no lunge, no hit. I've honestly noticed these things didn't start happening till after the update where they removed special ammo. They probably -blam!-ed something up, [b]BIG SURPRISE[/b] right?

My melees glitch on the second hit. Mine don't hit as fast as others for some reason. Yes I do have the perk on my gloves for faster melees.

1 ReplyThe other glitch I've been experiencing is my gun not wanting to aim down the sights. Sometimes when I'm engaging against another player in PvP, I go to aim down the sights and for some reason it disengages. Like it won't let me hold the aim down the barrel leaving me no choice but to hip fire. It's not my controller or anything else I'm doing that would cause that. It rarely happens but annoying when it does happen.

I'm also noticing that when I'm playing on my Nightstalker or Gunslinger I will have a throwing knife or smoke ready to go so I'll press the melee button and my hunter just -blam!-ing melees the air. No throwing knife or smoke is thrown and then I lose the engagement because of it. It's makes me so mad lol

Happens a lot when I use NLB, but I hear that's a typical thing for the gun. Happens to me with Uni too. Before that, it happened to me sometimes with Pocket Infinity.

Or my warlock shield not proc-ing. Or my defender melee not giving me my barrier shield. It's almost like the game is buggy or something [spoiler]who would've thunk[/spoiler]

Sometimes my weapon reload animation won't play and my gun won't shoot during that time. Generally happens if I do something like throw a grenade or the animation is interrupted in some forum.

Not new, i noticed this only in crucible. As i play little crucible and usually is not frequent i have no problem, except this christmas, SRL was a pain, it was impossible for me to finish a race not having this problem.

It's only been affecting me this last week orso I noticed it in a few privates I played. Maybe I did the reload and ran and that's what does it cause I'm always trying to run and jump around the map. But last night I was playing a strike hitting things with my rb I had my thumb on Y to pull out my sword and I got surrounded my dregs I had to literally fly up hold Y and it switched. I would like to say I've never had this problem before.

Sometimes it happens when you reload and cancel the animation by sprinting again. This happens bc the game requires guns to take a certain amount of time after reload to be able to shoot again even if the reload animation is canceled. This is more apparent on slow reload speed weapons such as hancannons and higher impact snipers. There is a weird glitch that happens where you ads and even if you are still holding the ads button it will in ads and not allow you to fire a shot. Other than that idk. Also, weapon equip speed is important. If a gun has a slow weapon equip speed then if you had another weapon and then switch to another one you won't be able to shoot it until the "hidden timer" goes off. This is especially apparent when using The Last Word. If you body an enemy and switch to TLW, you can ads and pull the trigger but it won't shoot for a little because it has really slow equip speed. I hope this was helpful.

Had this with the Monte last weekend. Wasn't playing any different, holding the trigger and nothing was coming out but showing 36 in the clip.

Happened multiple times last IB when using a sidearm. Would start to shoot, stop for a couple of trigger presses, and then start again Needed some marks for a vendor item, so thought I'd hit IB last night and knock out the heavy bounty as well. Rocket launcher failed on about 4 separate occasions D2 couldn't come soon enough as game is terrible to play
