The issue with this game was that everyone did spawn with special ammo for OP weapons (which they should be). The ammo distribution is in a great place now, you have to use your primary more which is how it always should have been. People who struggle now crutched OP shotties and snipers which had insane aim assist.

  • Another Halo player. That doesn't realize that you can't apply Halo principles to a weapon system that has been designed to look like and function like Call of Duty's. Once you allow people the ability to CHOOSE which weapon they wish to fight with, they are always going to choose the most efficient killing method available Beause if you dont'....you lose. Which is why the smart dev knows that you are now REQUIRED to balance the game if you want any build diversity. The fact that the only way that Bungie can manage to get people to put down their OHK weapons is by starving them of ammo, and narrowing down the scope of play, player choice and play style choice..... ...is proof that they don't know WTF they're doing....how lost they are...and how badly they've gotten it wrong. Oh, by the way....the snark works both ways, "People who like the current meta were simply not good enough....or too lazy....to adapt to alternate/more aggressive play styles. So they're happy that Bungie removed them from the game, and that everyone else has to change....so they don't have to." Those of us who were able to adapt to those play styles, and enjoyed the challenge of playing against them....didnt' want them removed. Before you throw that rock. Make sure you arent' standing in a glass house.

  • Just to ask... why do you complain about "OP SHOTTIES" when you have 21,000 kills with shotguns over your 9,000 qith snipers? Are you just a shotgun warrior or what?

  • But do you use a sidearm? Which can kill faster than a last word at longer ranges? Can you think of how much more skill a sniper took than a shotgun after the flinch nerf? Shotties just needed a 20% range nerf an it would've been fine now, still able to outplay a sniper if you can snipe yourself!

  • It's an inconvenience in 6v6 but that's it. In trials or elimination as long as Icebreaker exists and sidearms have spawn ammo they'll never get a primary game. It's not always possible to wait 30 seconds for special nor would I want to. I/we could use any special we wanted and use a primary until the timer and if it's convenient to pick it up so be it but the fact primaries are easily outgunned by sidearms at close range means you're only putting yourself at a disadvantage by not using icebreaker or a sidearm.

  • In trials the changes are an issue for sure but they have made 6s much better. I don't deal with trials but do understand where you're coming from.

  • No they haven't made 6s better. Primary weapons are still ridiculously underpowered. Bungie just tried to HIDE that fact by pushing shotguns and fusion rifles out fo the game, rather than balancing them. So all the managed to do was break the balance between the gun game...and player abilities. Sixes has the same problems as 3v3...as does TRials. Its just harder to SEE in 6s, because with 12 people its harder to notice someone sitting out of the action waiting for special to spawn.....or you can mob up and team shoot to try to hide the fact that you don't have any. The Crucible is broken, because Bungie can't accept the fact that this game needs a faster TTK....and won't acknowledge that they can't balance it around the slower TTK that they want. So they keep breaking shit trying to force the issue.
