I have a better idea, how about this time round bungie only listens to pve and pvp just has to suck it up and deal for 3 years

  • Or how about bungie inputs 1 suggested nerf instead of all of them at once like for example viking funeral and firebolts the only change needed was the new viking funeral instead bungie also nerfed the range on firebolts as well. Another example is clever dragon all people wanted was high cal rounds to be less effective instead bungie nerfed high cal rounds on all pulses and increased the time between bursts and dropped it's mag size on that archetype of pulse rifles essentially killing it in both pve and pvp

  • LMFAO, they neutered thorn because pvp couldn't handle it. TLW shortly after? Same. Suros and vex as someone mentioned already. "Nerf fusions" is a joke born out the "constant need" for "fusion balancing" which is hilarious because they're cross mapping people more than ever now. Shotgun precision damage just recently? All autos being marshmallow shooters for ages following the death of suros? "Bloom" on handcannons? Shotpackage? Rangefinder? Final Round? Weapon Rerolling? Sniper ammo counts? Special ammo counts in general? Field Scout? Truth? Throwing knives? Blink? Blink? BLINK? Shadestep AND Twilight Garrison? Firebolts, Arcbolts and Tripmines? Hammers? Bladedance? Stormtrance? The Ram? Smoke bombs? Nothing Manacles? Shinobu's vow? On that note Skip grenades themselves as well. All "balancing" based solely on pvp with callous disregard for the effect on pve. Should I continue or is the horse dead already?

  • Some of them were necessary while others wasn't but are you really saying Pve isn't better off for the nerfs? Any aspect of Pve is a piece of piss to complete. The reason I stopped playing Pve was because it was so easy. I like a challenge not being able to run through a raid like it's a strike. Dps on bosses- are you telling me that upto 24 sniper shots wasn't too many to start with? It was ridiculous, same for heavy ammo reserves.

  • OG Suros and Vex, PVE weapons that were nerfed to oblivion because Pvp crybabies couldn't adapt, or go get one themselves. The resulting nerf made them nearly unusable at the time.

  • That's like saying that PvP players don't complain. You do realize the flaw in this argument right? Everybody complains. PvE and PvP. I complain about PvE plenty. Why does armor piercing rounds not do jack squat to cabal shields? When I can shoot a thorn round through one cabal's shield, do nothing to him, but kill the psion behind him? Why is the splicer vandal precision hitbox so small? I shouldn't be having to be within the same range as a romantic embrace just to get a reliable precision kill ratio against them. Why to taken phalanxes shield attacks hit you through a wall? What is the point of cover and line of sight even?

  • I'm saying it's usually Pve players who aren't very good at PvP or just PvP players that are not very good. Every time I see a post on here moaning about a particular weapon it's usually the players with very negative stats. I'm not scrutinising their stats just saying i never see decent PvP players complaining. Everyone has the same weapon choice or sublclass etc, if they think a certain weapon is op there's nothing stopping them using it too. In most cases nerfs were either not necessary or nerfed so they were no longer a competitive weapon choice. None of the nerfs have ever made PvE players worse off.

  • They may have been nerfed, it's a fact yes. In my opinion the nerfs left Pve better off. If you want to feel like an unkillable god using op weapons play patrol.
