I was in a group for the aksis challenge a few weeks back
I have the Welfire(?) shader, which means I've done the challenge
Not only that, I have the valor emblem.
Leader asks me to put aksis emblem on. I'm like bruh I have the shader and valor emblem. Why do I need to put that emblem on. Got kicked

Challenge is not required for Weldfire. But those guys were kinda dumb about the ViD emblem.

You can get the shader or the sparrow without doing the challenge even if it's not the raid of the week.

Weldfire not only doesn't require challenge, it doesn't even need to be the weekly raid.

I'm sure since its how I got mine from hm chest before wrath had it's first 390 challenge week. Anywho, good job on ViD.

Does Weldfire mean you've done the challenge? It drops on non-challenge weeks.

Weldfire only requires beating Aksis during Featured Week for Wrath.

Nop a couple of clan mates got there shaders on these raids without them being the weekly raid. VoG and CE but no idea about WotM but I assume it's the same.

You can get the shader without doing the challenge. The kiosk only mentions 390 completion

Yea you get it from doing the challenge. At least that's what it says in the kiosk Either way I have Valor so it was stupid to be kicked lol
