Mass Effect 2 - Your Decisions On The Suicide Mission
Title for Reference.
[i]--------------OBVIOUS SPOILER THREAD--------------------[/i]
So, during the Suicide Mission, you choose teammates to be your specialist and your fireteam leader. Since i recently beat Mass Effect 2, i was curious what decisions the Flood made.
This is what were mine:
First Fireteam Leader: Miranda Specialist: Tali
Distraction Team: Garrus Specialist: Samara
Escort Chakwas(?): Jacob
My team to ships core: Legion and Thane
Final decision: Blow up base.
I made it out alive as well as my whole team.
So what did you guys choose for each decision?

Fireteam Leader #1: Garrus Tech Specialist: Tali Biotic: Jack Escort: Mordin Fireteam Leader #2: Miranda Final Decision: Destroy I've gotten No One Left Behind all 5 times so far. Legion and his Widow sniper rifle absolutely destroys Collectors, so he's a permanent member of my team for each section of the suicide mission.

I can't remember, but everyone lived. I was kind of hoping Jack died though, but she never. =( Destroyed the Collector base, killed the Rachni (damn it!), saved the Krogan cure, saved the Geth.

[/quote] I thought it was too risky, after seeing how the Collectors used the IFF to find the Normandy, who knows what the Reapers could have in that base to track or to even confuse. Remember what Legion says about if you use the Reapers tech to improve, you are following their set paths and they can imagine what solutions you are making. While if you use your own methods, they wont have a clue. I hope the Rachni are helpfull in Mass Effect 3. They should come in handy since i saved their queen.

I don't remember really =/ My first playthrough I lost Legion to the reactor exploding on Normandy, lost Thane by seeker swarms, and lost someone to the headshot when the doors didn't close. Then I saved everyone. Then on insanity run only Jack and Kasumi survived I believe, Miranda might've survived also.... Probably played more then that but that's all I remember right now >.> To the guy above me: Kasumi is a DLC character 'The Thief' or whatever. The one released before the Overlord dlc. Tali as Tech Miranda lead both fire teams. Garrus escorted Crew Samara as biotic Took Mordin and Legion to final battle. Blew up Base No deaths. [Edited on 07.05.2010 8:40 AM PDT]

Tech specialist - Garrus Team 2 leader - Mordin Biotic - Jacob Team 2 leader - Mordin Chakwas told to try to return to the ship by herself. Final squad - Miranda + Jacob Kept the base intact. [i]No one[/i] but Joker and EDI survived. On my first playthrough I set Mordin as the Tech specialist. Really bummed when he died. He's meant to be a freakin' genius!

Both Fire Team leaders, Jacob. I used Tali for the doors. I had Jack escort the survivors back. I took Mordin and Garrus with me to the core. We all made it out alive and well, after blowing up the base and telling the Illusive Man he could go to hell.

miranda to lead firefight team. (both times) legion to hack door samara to make barrier tali to return hostages. took grunt and legion to destroy human repeaer, destroyed collector base. hopefully in mass effect 3 i can get out of cerberus, and get back to spectre stuff.
