Think about it. Before Bungee screwed up the Crucible you normally had around 4 or 5 assist at the end of a match but now I see people with 10 to 15 assist kills. That's telling me that they have nerfed the guns to the point that they are garbage.

Another reason to love overwatch even more it doesn't count kills as an important in game stat in the grand scheme of things assists are just as important which is why it does keep track of them and groups it together as eliminations. Many times in destiny I'm about to fire that final shot and somebody on my team finishes him up before I can deliver it (I've also dome this to people as well) overall I think there should be a stat that combines kills and assists at the end of match.
-
i gave up counting
-
Yup, nerfs made running away much easier now.
-
I may have a shit kd but I average about 12 assists a match my friend I play with litterally follows me around the map just to troll me
-
I've had many assists since day 1. It's like my weapons do less damage. Even when i melee someone with 30% armor left or when i shotgun him, i get an assist.
-
Almost every game i played yesterday had me getting 8+ assists
-
About 50% of matches my assist either par or go over my amount of kills. 15+ assist every 3 games about. If you don't use a hand cannon this happens :/ *sigh* I'm not complaining just I don't enjoy using hand cannons as much as other weapons.
-
All I'm saying is that before all the nerfs that when you laid your sights on someone and got the shots off it was usually a kill even if they tried to run away. Running away from a gun fight wasn't an option before. You either took immediate cover or you were done but now the guns damage is so soft that it's so easy to just runaway from any gun fight which usually results in someone else getting the kill.
-
I just know that whenever Iron Banner comes around and you need to get assists or whatever for that one bounty, I usually finish it in the 1st or 2nd match. :/
-
I got some part of a bounty done where I needed 25 assists....IN ONE GAME
-
I've always had somewhere from 7-13 assists per match. Even before Bungie messed with special.
-
Players group up to team kill more. With 3 to 4 players shooting at one enemy, they all get assists with one of them getting the kill.
-
Or that everyone runs around team shooting now
-
you guys just play passive, and/or get unlucky with your teammates stealing your kills, and/or using nerfed weapons, and/or not good at the game
basically just get good and stop whining
-
Exactly why I haven't used a primary all trials weekend, if you're not team shooting it's not worth using one. I've used NLB and a sidearm all weekend.
-
First game with clever dragon. 9 kills 18 assists. That's when I deleted it
-
Edited by Animal Mother: 5/1/2017 10:55:30 PMI shoot people just to scare them away from me, then I dance and get shot from a guy who's crouching in a corner somewhere. My guns rarely ever start and finish a gun fight anymore.
-
I don't care about assists, what shits me is how many trades there are.
-
Well i get more kills then assists now. And i maybe get 3 sticky kills each round.
-
I always averaged 10 assists per game, nothing changed for me in that regard.
-
I almost never use Gunslinger on my Hunter. But it was my last quest to complete my subclass quests. I got some real eye opening experience of just how much they trashed that subclass. Point blank grenade explosions leaving ~5% health. Knife kills almost impossible even with a crit hit unless you drain 25% of their life first. I'm not great at PVP and don't enjoy most if it, but that was just brutal imo. Golden gun and it's great range is the only saving grace of that subclass.
-
For me it's mostly people stealing my kills :/
-
It's just people actually having to work in a team when they can't get shotgun kills.
-
or when youre in a gunfight and its just one of them and theyre almost dead then magically 2 more enemies show up kill you then your team finally decides to help kill them gotta love it
-
This also contributes to the insane number of supers in almost every match now
-
Negative KD games tend to be high assist KD games as well.
