This is so simple, guys!

I don't think anybody likes to hear comments like the one in the title if they are struggling in a raid due to a lack of team synergy. Stubbornness and overconfidence sucks! People who will only do what's best for themselves instead of the team are less helpful than people who don't know what to do, but are willing to listen. For example, when people refuse to communicate properly and won't allow one person to take the lead in a raid because the mechanics are 'so simple', everyone will be trying to do things too late, too early or at the same time. Also, people will talk over each other, etc., which will result in confusion, countless wipes and even arguments. A leader's goal isn't to demean people or suggest that he is better than anyone else. He is there to ensure that a final decision is made and a certain amount of order is kept in a team. You can always politely challenge people, but try not to take offence when instructions are given. It's always best to find a team that has similar standards to you. Good team chemistry will increase the chances of success in a raid. Try to be patient, but just leave if you can't agree with your teammates and are getting too frustrated, otherwise you won't be able to focus, and arguments will be more likely to occur. Don't personally attack people. Remember that this is just game.

  • I joined a group the other day on the crota raid and the leader would formulate a plan. Then while we were carrying that out, he would say things that would contradict the original plan which people did and would cause a wipe. This happened a fair few times. In the end he had to leave. Got someone to fill the gap and we got it done.

    • After completing nearly 200 raids (many with LFG teams) I get a gut feeling pretty quickly whether it's a team worth playing with or not. I can't even count the times I've left while we're still in orbit because people in the party don't vibe. I can tell it's going to be a headache.

      • People suck. You figure that out early and realize this is a video game that you are playing with random people you will never actually meet. If even one person is doing dumb shit more than one wipe, I just leave. It's not worth my time or getting a headache over. It's not a rage quit, it's just that my time is worth more than an hour on the bridge in CE...
