It works quite well for general play, actually, and I almost never see Guardians lag or be told I'm doing so from the people who play with me. About the only time I see issues is when the other players' connections are also being sluggish from their own bandwidth being used by others in their homes. (As an example, my brother is on high-speed but will tank our connection together if someone else in his house is doing something like streaming a movie.) But in general it does suck living in the boonies mere miles away from high-speed internet. Download times are just when it's the most noticeable.
