My team just leaves the Oversoul until Crota kneels a second time. That way you only get 1 Oversoul and everyone can shoot it. Half the team with Gjallarhorn and half with Sleeper. The Gjallarhorn sucks for the Oversoul because of the hidden exotic perk grenades and horseshoes so your rockets never actually impact it. Sleeper is a beast on it.

Also, cannot confirm this... but the Raid helmet gives a boost to damage when oversoul is active. So, maybe it will boost Sword damage if the Swordbearer has the helmet equipped?

Just tested this tonight and the damage boost from the helmet does not affect the sword.

But weapons of light seems to make a difference.
