"Know what to do."
The damn challenges came out less than 24 hours ago and I'm already seeing lfg posts about deathsinger and Crota challenge modes with "know what to do".
How about you lazy schmucks TEACH them "what to do" since you're such experts having done it only a few times yourselves the very first day.
God people are idiots.

# 3 People shouldn't have to watch a video for changes that JUST came out. If someone can't take a minute to explain it, they're idiots not worth playing with anyway.
# 4 A friend and I did a nightfall a while back with a random 15 below the required light level because our other friends weren't on. We gave him a shot and while his damage output was bad he was great with revives and popping bubble when things got rough. He ended up becoming a good friend who's now 400 and we play with regularly. I know it's not the same as raids but it doesn't hurt to give people a chance. They can end up becoming friends and becoming a good part of your team in the future.

2 RepliesMe titan. Me friends with hunter and magic man. Me do not understand why hunter and magic man so mad at me. Sometimes me make bubbles for friends. Other time me friends say mean things at me because of big slam fist. Sometimes me just scared and do not know what to do. Please hunter and space magic man do not hate titan anymore me want to be friend. Also why hate me big scary fist it hurt big bug things, scary skeleton people, big frogs , and takin guys for friends so we all live and play together. Me try to not punch with scary lightning fist but some times magic man come back from dead and DAT really scary so me punch sometime hunter sneak up on titan and me so scared me punch hard. Please don't hat titan me just want friend.

6 RepliesThis raid has been out for 2 years now. The mechanics didn't change barely at all. The challenges are very simple. There's also this really cool thing called "google" that you should check out. It will change your life. "Know what to do" is fine by me.

You wanna teach people? Go ahead. I will demand whatever the fck I want for my fireteam.. I've earned that right after 2000+ hours, 200 raid completions, 5000+ Grimoire, etc. You can do the same. If wanting to get quick and easy completions makes me an elitist, then so be it. I'll be the elitist with all the gear and you can be the friendly teacher struggling to clear the abyss.

The rewards are the same from year one i dont see why people are so eager to complete them.

99% of the raid is the same/mechanics are still there. The raids are old. If you haven't done them, you can see a quick run of them. Crotas end strike used to take 10 minutes so not like the video is long. The challenges, and raid, are easy once you know how the regular encounter goes.

First time I did the 390 Crota, one of my friends explained all the challenges very well. We ended up 5-manning it after one of our fireteam members went off

7 RepliesThat's fine, you can teach noobs how to do the raids & stay at one phase for 5 hours while I get a good group & knock it out in 1-2 hours. If that's me sounding like a elitist, then fine. I prefer not to sit there & have to tell a grown ass man how to something over & over again because he couldn't watch a YouTube video to learn a raid.

1 ReplyI think it depends on what motivated the person to ask for experienced players only. Honestly, I don't even understand why you'd label someone as an idiot for doing so. There are lots of people who do not mind showing someone the ropes, but there are times when it's not possible, given the time they have to spend. Personally, I'm not bothered by those asking for experienced players. The person could have a very legitimate reason for doing so. Or, maybe the person REALLY isn't the teaching type... ever been in a raid with that guy? Yikes! lol

And even when a "know what to do" post comes together they all spend 20 minutes arguing over which way is better.

2 RepliesMany experienced players don't want to take 5-10 minutes explaining how to do an activity when the strategies to finish it are a click away on the internet. If you cannot look up how to do Challenge Modes, it's you that's lazy.

If you can't spend a minute watching a video, that's pathetically sad. Don't compare raid to nightfall, revives mean nothing. I'm not looking for a friend, I'm looking for a teammate to get shit done

It's a google search away. Not that hard, why would people waste THEIR time teaching you the raid mechanics when you can do it yourself? How about you stop blaming people for being too lazy to google what to do.

1 ReplyThere are already YouTube videos out showing how to do it. All I did was watch those videos, posted that I knew how to do it. I was brought in, we finished with 1 wipe. Pretty simple.

4 RepliesLook, people either want to hurry and get shit done and not spend forever, or they have all the time in the world. The ones who post "400 light must know what to do" are typically the type that want/need to get it done in a hurry. Instead of bitching about how other people run their groups, just stay in your lane and worry about the groups you get. I've helped plenty of people, but sometimes you don't have time to teach.
