"Know what to do."
The damn challenges came out less than 24 hours ago and I'm already seeing lfg posts about deathsinger and Crota challenge modes with "know what to do".
How about you lazy schmucks TEACH them "what to do" since you're such experts having done it only a few times yourselves the very first day.
God people are idiots.

# 2 I don't need to start my own group because I'm not talking about It for myself. I'm saying the posts are ridiculous in general, not because I want / need to do it. I'm a year one player who has played consistently through the present and have friends I raid with.
# 3 People shouldn't have to watch a video for changes that JUST came out. If someone can't take a minute to explain it, they're idiots not worth playing with anyway.
# 4 A friend and I did a nightfall a while back with a random 15 below the required light level because our other friends weren't on. We gave him a shot and while his damage output was bad he was great with revives and popping bubble when things got rough. He ended up becoming a good friend who's now 400 and we play with regularly. I know it's not the same as raids but it doesn't hurt to give people a chance. They can end up becoming friends and becoming a good part of your team in the future.

If its this hard to explain something so simple to someone then youre going to have a rough time in the real world seeing as a lot of the player base are minors. As for the grown ass adults who have jobs and still complain, what if for your job, they just slapped together some video for you to watch instead of actually being there for you to explain? The video cant answer your questions once youre done and if you dared to ask a question then theyd think you dont know anything at all and possibly get kicked. Grow the fück up and explain in orbit since you guys complain it takes forever. It can also be easily explained in the crystal room as the game starts off with just killing ads.

How about respecting peoples time by educating yourself on the fight by watching a 5 minute YouTube video prior to going into a raid. No I won't teach you, i have taught hundreds and now I'm retired from teaching raids. Have some respect for people who have spent the time to learn the fight in advance! /rant

2 RepliesPeople are idiots 😂😂. So because you can't understand basic ideas about challenge and the fact that people want to get it done fast, then who is the idiot? If you want to do the raid, learn it fully or look for a chill group. Clearly you couldn't play AoT on launch, so you missed out on discovering challenge modes.

I spent 3 hours helping a shitty group through the raid and we couldn't beat Crota, switch to a different group and we fly past in less than half an hour

Usually people who have stupid demands are the people who are $hit at the game and want to get carryed, crota is not even that hard and people are already posting must have emblem,must know what to do, must be a no lifer... I am manly complaining here not because I cant get into an lfg team because in fact I already completed both challenges I am posting this because I feel bad for solo players who wont be able to get a team because of some douchebags

1 ReplyI remember when lfg worked pretty well just for doing the raids. Now it's littered with requirements. Pretty -blam!-in sad. Who remembers when light level was the main requirement? *raises hand* Now it's: emblems, certain weapons, certain classes, certain subclasses, grimoire, knowing how to cheese certain spots, etc.

Totally agree! Don't turn this into Trials where you only invite people that have done it x amount of times and have to have a certain gun or rocket launcher. Something that should be fun turns into elitist garbage where some people are blocked from participating and learning.

The "new" Crota is a challange at first, but even random groups should manage to get it done. Imo the new Crota and its challanges are great fun and well done by Bungie. The bridge encounter is super fun and oh boy we got owned hard the first time we went there. Ir Yut is also fun with alot teamplay required and Crota aswell where it needs different sword bearers so people finally have to learn how to smack Crota. Rewards are generous and cool looking and it wont take more then 3 raids on 3 chars to get all the weapons and a few more raids to complete the sets.

Is it so much to ask for someone to watch a 10 minute video instead of causing an hour of wipes? Why is this even an argument? The -blam!- is wrong with people?

I'm tired of taking half an hour to explain a complicated fight only to be completely disregarded.

You should expect people to know what to do, showing up to a raid ignorant of the mechanics is acting like your time is more valuable than the other 5 people. Now I will admit it was ridiculous to see people demand the emblem not 24 hours after the raid launched, but that's just how some people are.
