"Know what to do."
The damn challenges came out less than 24 hours ago and I'm already seeing lfg posts about deathsinger and Crota challenge modes with "know what to do".
How about you lazy schmucks TEACH them "what to do" since you're such experts having done it only a few times yourselves the very first day.
God people are idiots.

# 2 I don't need to start my own group because I'm not talking about It for myself. I'm saying the posts are ridiculous in general, not because I want / need to do it. I'm a year one player who has played consistently through the present and have friends I raid with.
# 3 People shouldn't have to watch a video for changes that JUST came out. If someone can't take a minute to explain it, they're idiots not worth playing with anyway.
# 4 A friend and I did a nightfall a while back with a random 15 below the required light level because our other friends weren't on. We gave him a shot and while his damage output was bad he was great with revives and popping bubble when things got rough. He ended up becoming a good friend who's now 400 and we play with regularly. I know it's not the same as raids but it doesn't hurt to give people a chance. They can end up becoming friends and becoming a good part of your team in the future.

I sorry that I don't like to raid with incompetent idiots who don't know how to do the challenge and having their lack of knowledge make the raid take longer than it needs to be

I make my requirements because I don't want to take the time to teach anyone if I don't want too. If you join, you should be able to contribute to the team, be above the required light, and not die every minute. If you can't do these three things, don't bother messaging.

I don't blame those people...if you don't know how to knock out these raids by now then I don't have time to play with you. This game isnt hard....you have to be able to PAY ATTENTION!! Now days that's asking too much for these simple minded people. Was able to know all 3 challenge mode runs on reset day, don't have time to reach someone how to play a 3 year old game.

Is this what DeeJ means when he talks about a friendly community of helpful guardians? lol It's funny that people will praise LFG, say it's easy to use, and try to get the people who don't like it to use it and give it a chance... Then act like this. "Use LFG! It's super easy and there's plenty of helpful people! You just gotta give it a chance!" "KNOW WHAT TO DO! MUST HAVE GHORN, ToM, BH, 400 LIGHT!"

thats what happens if no optional mm or no ingame searching tool exists. how do you want to "learn" or "know how to do it" if you never even got a chance to enter? watching a youtube video doesnt magically add more raid completions to your account. the same thing happend back in AION, if you didnt raid for the first time you would never raid. its still funny when i think back. those people waited 2 hours for a tank and since i never raided they probably waited 2 hours more, lol.

5 RepliesJust did crota challenge with 5 guys off of xbox live lfg. This was the most calm and easy going group of people of I've played with. It literally took us 3 runs to do it. The first 2 was feeling each other out and getting our strategy right. Boom 3rd run. After i did the second sword run it was set up perfectly for a guy who never ran sword and he clutched up. We celebrated like year 1.

Didn't finish the Crota due to people having to work tomorrow. There is always tomorrow night. Honestly I haven't had that much fun on a raid in a long time. So I don't think it matters if you know what to do, or don't know what do. It's a game, not a dick. Don't take it so hard.

Something for everyone, right? But... Is it so that some not so skilled players would like to have easy Raid runs without putting too much effort learning stuff. "I dont wanna do stuff. I just want to sit back and let others do the work." After playing many strikes with afk asshats waiting for free loot, I dont wanna see same happening in raids.

I have no issue explaining things to people if there are parts they don't understand, but no one can argue against the fact that seeing a video beforehand is still helpful. A properly worded explanation before an encounter still won't provide much visual representation of what they can expect. Best to do both imo.

If its this hard to explain something so simple to someone then youre going to have a rough time in the real world seeing as a lot of the player base are minors. As for the grown ass adults who have jobs and still complain, what if for your job, they just slapped together some video for you to watch instead of actually being there for you to explain? The video cant answer your questions once youre done and if you dared to ask a question then theyd think you dont know anything at all and possibly get kicked. Grow the fück up and explain in orbit since you guys complain it takes forever. It can also be easily explained in the crystal room as the game starts off with just killing ads.
