Of course they're wrong. The problem is that they are stubbornly trying to defend the game's underpowered primaries. So instead of buffing the weapons so that people CHOOSE to use them (because they are efficient and effective) they are stuck in the Fool's Errand of trying to limit people's options and force them to use them. So people are either quitting in annoyance and frustration because build diversity and play style variety are getting crushed...... ...or people are undermining the changes. All will happen is that the meta wills stay the same, and play will focus EVEN MORE on getting to special ammo boxes. Bungie stubbornly refuses to accept that you can't force people to interact with your game in ways they don't enjoy or aren't rewarding
