Yes they are wrong. But if you play the game as badly as they do they can be excused for thinking differently.

  • don't be dumb, that's like saying formula 1 mechanics are wrong for fixing something the driver wanted and are bad because they can't drive the car as good as the actual racers. Yeah let's blame Roger Goodell for suspending tom brady for 4 games, not because he cheated but because Goodell isn't able to throw or lead a team like him.

  • That's a decent argument except for the fact that 1. We never asked for the economy changes 2. The driver gets to ask for what they want to be done specifically/get a say/are told about the changes 3. Those changes only affect the one car and not everyone else's by comparison 4. Also the problem that stems from them not being very good at the game is as follows; They don't have the time to play the game as much as the player base does, they have sandbox testers who can only test changes in the simulated space, So even if they make trial games to test out the changes (like they did in the stream) it only reflects off their experiences and they can't truely see what works until they put it in the actual game. They don't have any players that constantly play the game for hours and are decent-high teir in their midst (that I know of) To at least give better representation/feedback to how these changes will affect the crucible. They have numbers, but no experience, that's like being a sports analyser who specializes in statistics but never playing the sport, not knowing rules, never seeing a game etc and thinking that you know how the players feel, how they should perform by comparison to other players, how the game should be played etc. Because of this they are prone to making strange, unnecessary, or poor choices. 3 examples of this are the hungering blade nerf (along with the glitch to the other health regeneration options which they STILL haven't addressed other than that past post about potential changes), the blink nerf and the trip mine nerf/throwing knife nerf. The guy on stream loosely said that he have a hard time killing a blade dancer after its regenerated it's health. However he did not specify that it was a community issue and in reality blade dancer super wasn't in the greatest place in the meta game. The recent blink nerf were unusual, and unimportant. Blink was seeing much less use after its first set of nerfs, and was extremely balanced compared to how it was in year one. Making it so it takes away some of your recovery AND takes away your hud (especially for as long as it does) makes no logistical sense. Most can agree that the throwing knife and trip mine nerfs were uncalled for, not asked for, and fixed a problem that wasn't there.
