Forget! The Nerfs and Buffs and Balancing, because Until You People address the problem with people being allowed to LAG in PVP it doesn't matter What your Gun or Super or Abilities can do IT WON'T MATTER AGAINST THESE CHEATING LAGGING BLIGHTS ON CRUCIBLE!
No. You do realise changing the lag permissions in Crucible would require the activation of hundreds of new servers (costing millions of dollars,) would cause the game to go down for weeks on end and would not eliminate lag completely. Balancing needs to go on as usual.
They KNOW they are doing it too! I've got a list almost 1000 players long of people i run into Repeatedly who are in that category and they Still are playing and Still Ruining people's PVP Experience.
Bullshit. Give me that list of 1000 players.
Anyone with a Brain should Refuse to buy Destiny 2 unless you can FIX this problem Before it comes out. Or maybe it Doesn't mean anything to you if i don't buy it but I'm going to start a petition and campaign Focused Solely on the Demise of Any Gaming Company who will Not Stop Lag in Player Vs Player Games.
Your petition will not do a thing. Some child on the internet who doesn't know how to properly punctuate a sentence cannot affect the work ethics and networking architechture of a multinational like ATVI/Bungie.
You want to make a game Solely PVP you'd Dam Well Better Make It Lag Free! #EndPVPLag
CITATION NEEDED. When have Bungie said they ever wanted to make Destiny solely a PvP game? Exactly. They didn't.
EDIT: I'm throwing this out there too! If i Ever fall into that category myself due to my ISP having a malfunction then BY ALL MEANS do NOT let me play PVP either unless it's Resolved First! I'm by No Means saying i never have a problem but the Difference is i Willingly go back to orbit and Reset my Internet if i Ever see a yellow bar. And Red has Never been my color as of yet but I'd do the same there too
That's not true. Your 'bar' is just an indication of the strength of your connection to the host, not your quality of connection. I have ~50 mb/s Internet, and I occasionally redbar even when my wired internet is running at full speed and nobody else is on any other Internet-capable devices. This is because you occasionally play against people from foreign countries. TL;DR - Think, make an effort before you post, do some research, and sort out your bloody punctuation.

All I'm Ever going to say to you is this. So read slowly My list could well be Over 1k players guilty of Ruining PVP with their repeated systemic connection issues. I can think of about a Hundred Right Now just off the top of my head but due to policies cannot post their names and you'd recognize quite a few of them as well. Heck. Ran into a New one last night who's even a Big Name YouTuber and him and his Whole Team were so yellow/red that there was No chance of winning let alone winning an exchange or staying positive kd. You want to know who I'm referring to so bad? Go check my last 10 games history and the name will POP if you know Anything about YouTube and streamers. I even took the time to tell him i had a video of the game recorded and was sending the link to bungie reports and was Disappointed that such a Big Name was in PVP with those connections. One less channel I'll be watching. As for the list i have let's just say this. It's a List for a reason. Psn will only allow So Many Blocked people. Therefore to Track them i made a spreadsheet and update it. Amazing! Just now many Multiple repeat offenders i have on it. 90% if not More. As for my petition and Campaign against games and companies who have COMPETITIVE PLAYER VS PLAYER. They Must be held Accountable for Allowing connection issues in their games. There is a LOT of Money tied to these things and That's Exactly why Blizzard is so Tough on OverWatch Laggers/Cheaters. Bungie introduced trials and iron banner. They have a Responsibility to keep Connections Strong at Least in those game modes. And that's my Final Point. Destiny IS all about Connections. And if you think PVE doesn't suffer from that as well then you're Delusional because Raids are Severely Impeded by Laggers

  • It looks like I'm going to have to do it again...
My list could well be Over 1k players guilty of Ruining PVP with their repeated systemic connection issues. I can think of about a Hundred Right Now just off the top of my head but due to policies cannot post their names and you'd recognize quite a few of them as well.
Otherwise known thus; it isn't a list of thousands of players. It's a few players who you chance upon every one hundred games or so. The 'thousand player list' is bullshit, as I said.
I even took the time to tell him i had a video of the game recorded and was sending the link to bungie reports and was Disappointed that such a Big Name was in PVP with those connections.
Read what I said, yet again. That is your quality of connection to the host. It is not his internet, it's the host's geographical location. Send me a copy of your server logs (obfuscate the IP,) and use them to prove he has a poor connection quality to you, and I'll believe it. Until then... bullshit.
They Must be held Accountable for Allowing connection issues in their games.
No, they can't. Consumers' connection qualities/geographical locations are not ATVI's responsibility.
There is a LOT of Money tied to these things and That's Exactly why Blizzard is so Tough on OverWatch Laggers/Cheaters.
How is there money tied to such things (unless you're talking consumer interest rate as plotted over average connection quality, something you'd need to prove using empirical data and information gathering and, dare I say it, research...)
And if you think PVE doesn't suffer from that as well then you're Delusional because Raids are Severely Impeded by Laggers
When did I say it didn't? TL;DR - Think, make an effort before you post, do some research, and sort out your bloody punctuation.

  • They do not. I did some research (ahem...) and at no point does Bungie promise a steady connection within the game. The closest thing I can find is this, and it in fact clears Bungie of any responsibility (it is not a section that relates purely to connection quality, but also to any 'service provided content.')
Unless otherwise specified in writing, any Service Provided Content that you receive is licensed to you as set forth herein, and you shall have no ownership right thereto. Unless specifically permitted by Bungie, you may not, sell, lend, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer any Service Provided Content. Service Provided Content may be altered, removed, deleted, or discontinued by Bungie at any time (e.g., upon termination of this Agreement and/or cessation of online support for the Program), even if you have not “used” or “consumed” the Service Provided Content prior to alteration, removal, deletion, or discontinuation.
Hear that crackling? That's the sound of narratives going up in flames.

Maybe you're just not as good as the enemy team and that's why you lost to youtubers who are masters of PvP, I red bar sometimes, and I'll do better, sometimes I'll do worse, sometimes it won't even effect the game, and that's the most common

Looked through all the games you had in the last couple days and didnt find a single youtuber or streamer. Please elaborate who you are talking about and which game it was.

  • I'll assume since you didn't reply you found the name I'm referring to. I've got the recording. Doesn't matter what anyone's Opinion is. Video proof ends all arguments

  • In which case post the video. It's like saying you have a paper proving that vaccines cause autism, and then refusing to give the paper to anybody... because it doesn't exist. There is no video proof. I will redact this if you prove what you're saying.

  • The old 'I am holding you up to decent standards of academic rigour, so screw you.' You should not engage in arguments with people who will beat you, and then take the coward's way out. Not good.

  • You should just PM him with the answer in a vague enough way so that one can know the answer / whilst be protected. BTW, I agree with you on the tremendous amounts of laggers / yellow/red bars. Sure, it can be blamed on ones connection to the host, then again, when you are playing against players from across the world, doesn't matter what colored connection one may be; The match will not be enjoyable for one team. That is true. It may not be Bungie's fault if one is to be matched with players from another continent, but surely they can do something about it. Matchmaking should prioritize similar strengths in connection / same region first and foremost. This, they should have tried to do all along. I have played in many games against players who were once losing by thousands of points in Control, only to suddenly be yellow / red bars in connection and became bullet sponges. That right there tells me time and time again that there is too easy of a way to manipulate ones connection and getting an advantage in PVP.
