I've spent the last few months attempting to beat the Halo 3 campaign on Legendary [b] without shooting [/b] and [b] without dying [/b]. No one had ever completed Sierra 117, Crow's Nest, The Covenant, or The Ark this way, and at first I wasn't sure it was even possible. Now, I have completed the entire campaign Zero Shot, with 8 of 9 world record speedruns (all except Floodgate; see highspeedhalo.net). In my opinion, it was much more difficult than Mythic/SLASO. Think about getting past the Sierra jackal snipers, or the Nest drones, or Scarabs, or entire rooms of Brutes without being able to fire a single bullet. So please, enjoy the show. The sum total is less than 3 hours (2 hours, 54 minutes, and 53 seconds to be precise). At 2x speed on your theater, that's less than 1.5 hours, like an everyday movie but more BA. You have to watch the films to see that I don't shoot. Also, I enabled Iron Skull on all missions so you know I didn't die. The only exception is Halo, where I was doing a practice run where I expected deaths and I never died. Watch the film for verification. Note 2: I followed High Speed Halo's description of Zero Shot runs here: "Zero Shot runs for Halo 3 are the same as normal runs, but with a couple extra rules: Grenades and Melees ONLY; Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer and Equipment are fully allowed; must be Legendary Single Player; Campaign Scoring and The Iron Skull must be turned on (no deaths). You may drive vehicles, but cannot shoot them yourself. You may have a marine or elite in your gunner seat who is shooting. Special Rule: Due to the reasons stated in this forum post ([url]http://highimpacthalo.org/forum/showpost.php?p=603679&postcount=10[/url]) we consider the Killing of 343 Guilty Spark during the Halo Mission to be an "Active Cut Scene" and not part of regular game play.
