I personally believe this is the best meta we have ever seen.
Primaries are most balanced, except for scouts which are beat out by hand cannons all the time
Secondaries win at their respective areas, and when they patch side arms it will all be balances
And heavies... are heavies, they are all good
There's not even a specific subclass crushing the Crucible

11 RepliesThis meta is terrible. Don't even see auto rifiles. I see people camping with nlb and ice breaker like it's battlefield or cod. Sidearms are the new handcannons. Weapons aren't that diverse anymore player base is dropping so keep running into the same people doing the exact same thing. It's actually down right terrible. It's not even a shadow of what it use to be.

Seriously every time bungie tries to "fix" something, they take 2 - 3 steps backwards. I'm the only person left playing from my original friends. There used to be 15 people I knew personally that played. All have left. After tonight. I'm saying my goodbyes as well. It's just not fun anymore.

I honestly didn't mind getting killed with a shotgun before this patch. I knew I could pull out my shotgun and go toe to toe with those guys. I have a couple decent matador64 rolls, and would trade or go ham on occasion. They could have just made some adjustments to that archetype and we would have been fine IMO. I was playing a lot with fusion rifles anyway because they were feeling rewarding to get a kill with. So that leads me to wonder who complained so heavily about shotguns that they did this weird sidearm meta now. It's very clearly intentional.

Can't tell if joking or not. But if you're not I agree. Literally these forums have made me laugh so much with all these crybass bitches the last couple weeks. Oh no my shotty I can't run around with tbthe while game! Oh no I got killed by a sidearm! I better start using one... wait I'm no good with them -blam!- you bungie!!! Oh my gosh I can't wait less than 60 seconds for more special oh mah gawd!!! Literally have more ammo for my fusions than ever. This has been a -blam!-ing welcome change to the crucible. -blam!-ing amazing that I can run around with an auto and a fusion and damn near be on top every single match...

5 RepliesWhile I like more primary usage how is this the best meta when fusion usage went from 2% to .89%? Any change that almost completely removes an entire weapons class is a bad meta.

Any scout user should be playing at ranges that favor them. How they accomplish and influence players to do this is another argument however.

30k made it to the lighthouse with 214k participants. The numbers are getting smaller with these horrible updates and The update is actually good for the primaries except they took away the greens every death, they shouldve never done that, they could've just added more time for the green ammo timer and let the players used their greens wisely like before. I feel the green ammo nerf was too much and it needs to be reverted back.

I'm super excited to see what crucible is like after the upcoming fix. There might actually be a counter to NLB and skorri's will be a little less used in PVP! Pulses need a buff, stickies need no magnetism, and they need to adjust spike grenades.

Have you seen the spreadsheet showing TTK values? Primaries are no where near balanced. And it doesn't matter because people are still spamming Sidearms anyways.

Auto rifles and scout rifles are still meh and sidearms need to apply by the same rules as other special weapons. Hand cannons and pulse rifles are still on top.
