All of us are Hypocrites. We made this game the way it is now.

I have stopped playing Destiny as of last weekend. Two Trials matches is all it took for me to say I can't handle the new meta. I was and always will be a shotgun warrior to my heart. We complain when it isn't our meta and you all know this, the community (and BUNGIE) has literally ruined this once beautiful game. If something kills you, it's overpowered or broken. We've went through every meta we can. Autos(SUROS), Handcannon(Thorn/TLW) with a few Pulse (Red Death/Messenger), Scout(MIDA), Pulse( Hawksaw archetype), Pulse(Clever Dragon archetype), now we are kind of back to Handcannons again. Every weapon has been destroyed.
It happened with all special weapons also. Now it's a all special weapon meta because of our complaining, another exotic is getting nerfed because of the community although I could care less honestly now. The problem is I love destiny I've played it more than any other game I've ever owned. Now I'm afraid I might not purchase the next Installment which upsets me.
Just remember something will always be better than something else in gaming.
Much love to you BUNGIE, you have given me my best memories of gaming and I really hope you guys just go back to doing your thing. To the community I hope you all can get past your childish ambitions and understand this.

Remember when they nerfed shotguns and conspiracy theory wasnt even affected,or when they nerfed handcannons range the gave us handcannons with even more range a few weeks later. Or the sniper that could 1 shot body kill. Or when they nerfed special ammo and forgot about sidearms,

For the record I never once asked for anything to be nerfed. I never complained that anything was op. I used to just play this game and have fun but bungie fixed that for me. I was finding myself bored playing mayhem for Pete's sake. So I figured I'd get out ahead of the nerf train and just play avatar deathmatch with nerf guns. Solo of course in case I accidentally hurt some one.

The only thing I EVER complained about was back in year one and how auto rifles were the only viable class of weapon.

No whiny snowflakes from this crappy new generation ruined destiny...I've always been 100% fine with whatever was broken, I just switched over to it and learned how to use it. My kills are almost perfectly split between everything out there because I just changed over to whatever was good...don't care what it is if it helps me win. Personally I just want my 2 piece Vex back...if eysaluna can 2 piece me why can't my Vex?

No, am not a hypocrite, and no, i am not responsible for the game being the way it is. Frequently, my personal experience in this game has been lessened by the complaints of others rather than for any solid reasoning behind the changes.

1 ReplyI was never into pvp. I do play most iron banners though. Never once complained about something being "OP".......... So yea, i agree that pve paid a heavy toll for pvp. The people clearly have sway and at least help things get nerfed more and more and more until well, lmao, they are going to nerf a gun that was laughably bad and only used for the heavy ammo glitch in crota's end. That's how far they went. I am aware the younger guys here on the forum don't make the changes, Bungie sandbox does. They are ultimately responsible for not separating pve from pvp nerfs as well as not playing their own pvp all that much. It IS their responsibility to learn from mistakes. They have not done so. 2.5 years in and nearly every single hotfix causes unintended consequences. 2.5 years to learn that nerfing and nerfing and then nerfing some more was never the answer. Let's see what they do with the sequel.

I never complained about the crucible. Oh wait, just when the hammer of sol super was too strong, other than that never. Man up kid, it's just a game, learn how to use a side arm and play with us again. I can't really snipe that good, but I still snipe once in a while just to change it up. Change is the new meta.

I've never complained about meta. I use the same guns pretty much not matter what.... autos and fusions since day one. They nerfed the shit outta both of them. Never made one complaint. I adapted and over came, sometimes lol I'm just ranting, anyways just because you can't get over or can't get good and pick up another weapon doesn't mean you come in here to cry about the "new" meta. Gg scrub, or get off the forums and quit wasting people's time. "Oh no they nerfed my speacila weapon ammo 😭 if only I would actually try I'd see that I could have special just as often but instead I'm gonna cry in the forums and say I've quit playing destiny when really I'll be back tomorrow"... have a good day scrub.
