Destiny 2 don't please don't nerf cause a weapon is overused just buff the weapons that are underused
That it just saying we don't want another D1

As long as Mantis isn't involved, D2 will be good. He is a big troll that dislikes the community.

Or give a bounty or quest for using underused gun

We will know everything we need to know about how D2 will be managed by one key thing: Whether PVP is separated from PVE. If it isn't, then absolutely NOTHING is going to change when D2 is released.

By the lengths they'll go to avoid buffing weapons and having faster kill times (which is what this game needs badly). Plus lots of people are uncomfortable with the speed at which augmented mobility shooters play. I just heard (sadly) Ms5000Watts refer to Supremacy in the previous meta as "chaotic". It wasn't chaos. It was just a fast game that required you to keep track of multiple things at that speed. Destiny plays slowly compared to games like Titanfall. The speed of Supremacy never bothered me. Only the mob tactics did. I hate team shooting. IMO, there is no skill in that unless everyone has a set team and is on headphones. So our best hope is just a separation of pvp from pve. Because they will kill the pve game otherwise.

It's why the majority of the new exotics that have come with Taken King and Rise of Iron are on the 'average' scale and not the 'equal to/better than legendary' scale. On the other hand, something being 'overused' can also be a sign that it is overpowered as well. Not always, but it sometimes is true.

Buffing everything doesn't fix the problem either, it just tips the scales in the other direction. With that pretty much the fastest weapons/abilities will be the dominating force in Destiny and that would meant any of the slower weapons/abilities will be pushed out of the running. Balance is achieved by appropriately buffing and nerfing things throughout the game to bring them to the same levels so all that matters is skill, not who has the better weapon/class/sub-class/ability.

Sidearms were never OP, they are just good now because of the special ammo changes. NLB was never OP and never will be OP, but it's used a lot now because it's a primary sniper. And don't tell me that it doesn't take skill to use, because it does. :|

After going up against Devotion and Hemlock, overuse generally means a weapon is effective, which can also mean that a weapon is overpowered. Hemlock at least takes some precision to be devastating so most people don't use it. Devotion, on the other hand, can kill someone with 2 shots to their big toe.

D2 needs a separation between PvE and PvP. That way PvE users won't have to worry about the changes made on PvP usage/stats. That's the best option to keep both category of players satisfied.

Auto rifles. I chose what I used based on the map. A lot of open space- scout rifle and shotgun. A lot of rooms and hallways or an outdoor map with lots of close space and cover- auto rifle with sniper. Don't care for pulse rifles much. Destiny forced me into using a weapon I would pass up except for a couple of exotics.

I am not buying Destiny 2 anymore.... trials is in ruins for me because there is no CBMM.... Now on trials, it lags and enemies players willing to cheat through trials...

Any underused gun could suddenly become the best choice, because they added like [x]% of impact, RoF etc. Take the high impact pulse rifles. They can 2 tap right now, but nobody uses them. Any slight change to them could break the pvp again.
