It's still the longest ranged melee in the game with amplitude.
And if you aren't running amplitude, then you have larger problems. lol

But ....But there are thrown Melees that have much much more range so ....how is it the longest
-
You're late. Already addressed this. Good try though.
-
The non throwing melee defense, huh... So then if thunderstrike had the Ryu Streetfighter hadouken animation you would have been fine with it prior to the nerf? lol
-
If they nerfed the tracking, yes. It was the combo of the tracking and crazy range that made it so nuts.
-
But I was just asking my dood
-
I don't see a question mark.
-
I was just asking my dood? >~<
-
That makes no sense. You're struggling, troll.
-
I'm not a troll my guy I was legitimately just asking a question. I was wondering if you think a storm caller melee at optimal range can beat out a throwing knife or a smoke at optimal range ? .3.
-
If you were legitimately asking, you'd have been smart enough to scroll down and see that question answered.
-
I am legit asking your opinion. There is no reason to call me a troll or think that I am after you, I am simply asking for your personal opinion. There is no reason to insult my intelligence.
-
Again, if you would just scroll down, this painful conversation will finally meet it's completely pointless end and you'll have your answer if you actually seek it... Three times now I've had to tell you where that answer is. I'm not insulting your intelligence. You are doing that to yourself.
-
But why can't we have civilized conversation my guy? That's all I want
-
And if you aren't running amplitude, then you have larger problems. lol
The problem with that logic is that Bungie is supposed to nerf things to encourage other builds, not force everyone to use the same perk.
-
And the problem with THAT logic is that it's completely ridiculous. Instead of nerfing things to encourage...well anything really...they should try promoting other things...which one then promote their use... Sorry. I didn't mean that to sound like an attack at you. They just have a really backwards way of "encouraging" use of other items.
-
They want to avoid power creep. Plus the crybabies would've lost their minds if Bungie decided to buff the other 2 perks without touching amplitude. I'm saying they should've changed amplitude instead of making it the only possible way to make thunderstrike do what it's supposed to intrinsically do.
-
I can agree with that. I just think they avoided power creep so hard that they went the opposite way. Things are being "encouraged" by stomping other things down a peg or seven. lol
-
Lol definitely
-
Throwing Knife. Smoke.
-
Excuse me. It's the longest range non-throwable melee, as it has always been since it's inception.
-
Those are melee projectiles so they don't count lol
