So i'm trying to get better at crucible and i'm wondering if practicing with friends is a good idea. I know private matches have stat tracking but do they affect your crucible stats. Thanks for any information.

No they don't. IMO, playing private matches against stronger opponents, or equally skilled players, can be extremely challenging and will make you better. That being said. If you really want to get better at pvp, just play a lot of rumble.

Lol. My kd would be absolutely abysmal if private matches did affect the actual stats. I couldn't help it though. It was too much being a dick and -blam!-ing around with her and shade stepping around while she frantically yelled trying to punch me and calling me a sack of shit. She'd get 3 to 15.00 kd while I went negative every time. Totally worth it for all the laughs lol

I'd play against better opponents if you want to improve.

Edited by Nerf Swarm Nades: 2/22/2017 1:42:02 PMYou lose 5 Elo every private match

If you want I can run some 1 v 1s with ya. I'm not the best but I'm pretty good
-
It dosen't get added to your stats.
-
Nope. Because if it did you'd see players with 10.5 k/d's! Maybe not that high but you get the point.
-
If your friends are better than you then its a good idea. Playing people worse than you wont help really. Maybe itll help your aim but thats it. As for the kd im not sure
-
I hear your crucible kd increases by posting in the correct sub-forum.
-
Nope, it doesn't. Private match to your heart's content.
-
No it does not affect it

Please edit your post and change the hashtag from #Gaming to #Destiny, as in addition to the fact that most people in this subforum don't play Destiny you'll likely encounter a lot of hostility. For future reference, the Gaming subforum is for topics related to games other than Destiny. Threads that do relate to Destiny belong in the Help, Feedback, Recruitment, and Destiny subforums respectively. I am sorry for this redirection, I will add a quart of lutefisk, so we have good feelings. :)
