D&D Dilemma.
This is in #gaming because it doesn't say #videogaming. My friends and I are running a Dungeons and Dragons homebrew campaign and we're picking custom races. So, here's my problem: what race should I choose? My top choices are Aarakocra, Centaur, Illithid (or Mind-Flayer as they are more commonly known), Gith (both Githyanki and Githzerai), or Succubus. This isn't a poll because I want reasoning.

Why not make a benevolent Lich? Sure you have to spend some time allocating some points but being a Lich and justifying your existence with an awesome backstory is so much fun. Plus the benefits of dark vision and aura of horror can make for some hilarious interactions!
