Special Ammo Solution

So in the new 2.5.0.2 era we're presented with a simple dilemma. Is it even worth it to carry anything that is not a sidearm? It could be.... However it isn't. Nothing happened to sidearms. They've been fun and powerful for a long time. Shotguns were just better. Fusion Rifles were the best way to counter them with a little skill. Sidearms, in the right hands were primaries. Snipers, well they snipe. Now that special ammo, itself, has been nerfed into the ground everyone has found out what a sidearm is. It's an awesome special weapon that allows the user to always have a few rounds every time they die. There in lies the problem that we have now. Is it by design? Oh, yes sir. Problem: Special ammo is GONE after you die except for sidearms. Solution: Instead of obliterating the special ammo that you worked to pick up (making the trek over to the box and surviving the hungry hordes useless) utilize the inventory stat found on every weapon. For instance; the sidearm Wormwood spawns you in with 18 rounds if you die with zero. This is because the inventory stat on the gun allocates 18 rounds. My fusion rifle that I loved so much (Worlds to Come) spawned me in with something like 6 shots. The gear that we can equip has inventory modifiers built in. I run a full Fusion Rifle build. When I pick up a special box, I get 6 rounds. If someone runs a full sniper build with the Longbow Synthesis they pick up 4 rounds instead of 3. This is the best idea here. It plays to the limiting special in the game and it plays off of how you customize your builds. Put the special box timer back to where it was and just reset the ammo count to it's base spawn in value after every death. That way special can be used as it should be. I guess I should included this section... Too long, didn't read: Utilize the inventory of weapons by resetting the ammo to initial spawn in value. Note*: DO NOT CONSIDER NERFING SIDEARMS! They were and are in a perfect place. You will only see more of them currently because of a retarded decision on the developers' part. So; I've been noticing a couple of counter ideas. I like them. 1. Kill enemies with primaries and have special drop. Could this also apply to a concept of if that person had special ammo from a box he loses it and now what he had was yours? 2. Lose half of your current magazine on death. That could be a decent solution. Could this also be tied into the picking up ammo from dead bodies solution? You die and half of your special ammo gets dropped as a special brick? 3. Just roll the change back. Boring...... Yes, I realize that Bungo isn't going to change a single thing about what they did. I just wanted to get a good conversation going to find a better solution than straight-up canceling special ammo. Maybe this three year beta test with help with the successor.
