The Range Nerf SHOULDN'T Apply to FIRST CURSE... seriously

Bungie ol pal, I know you are busy dodging the boulders of salt being thrown your way but could I have a moment of your time? First Curse... It's supposed to be a longer range hand canon if I understand its function correctly. It's THE friggin exotic perk on the gun if I'm not mistaken. It's literally the slowest weapon/highest TTK in the game. It's not meant for close ranges. You knew that taking away CRIT damage from Chaperone was ridiculous and so is taking the range from First Curse. Please reconsider this
PLEASE!!
Edit: If you agree please add a bump. It ain't hard to get things trending these days and I really do think this was an oversight on Bungies part. Maybe they will fix it.
A guy can dream right?
• They should honestly increase it's base range by a large amount. While I think they should do it across the whole high impact class, but the First Curse needs a bigger bump, moreso than the others., and remove the range cap on cannons altogether (because guess what? this would have virtually no effect on mid impacts, but great effect on high impacts), Especially since when it comes to range? aim assist aside, basically every high impact hand cannon can out-range the First Curse. Other ways they can help the First Curse.. Increase the effectiveness of it's intrinsic perk to further increase weapon zoom (it's got a built in rangefinder, which increases the zoom factor). Give an optional Perk under Triple Tap for Private Eye instead. Why? Zoom actually plays a HUGE factor in range and falloff. Triple Tap is a great PvE perk, but for PvP not so much, espeically when the intrinsic perk restores ammo on a precision kill. Private eye (which I'm not even sure you can get on a Canon normally) isn't a popular perk though, mostly because of how you have to crouch to use it. They COULD put Rangefinder instead, which is passive instead, but has far less effect than Private Eye in regards to range increasing effect.
