• While getting to the building was tough, getting inside it was a whole other task. It had been sealed in so many different areas that the player and the scavenger had to take a more "scenic" route into the factory. http://i.imgur.com/YqIXpuy.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/8FZS2GN.jpg A player in Art and Stuff did a really good paintover of the image changing the time of day. I decided to mimic it for a better idea of lighting. Thanks Plain Ben. http://i.imgur.com/tbCXrlw.jpg The Factory, or the surface half, is the area where everything enters in as well as where the factory gets its power. Triple layered solar panels let the Factory run through the night along with it's lower level generators. I'll probably show that part of the factory or map it out a little later. For the player this is the entrance to a large puzzle. A mystery lays beyond the elevators and doors that are crusted with hundreds of years of dirt and vegetation that has retaken the area. This is the start of danger for the player.

  • http://imgur.com/yJPlxZM I made a Title for the game. Destiny: Homeworld I was going to orientation for a week long testing job here in Redmond. I had a lot of time to think on my walk over. I thought about the game of Destiny and what I'd really want to introduce to the game in this update. I think I would really show off the hand of the Darkness at work on Earth before it was pushed back by the traveler. Homeworld would probably be about a part of Earth being lost to the Attack when the war was going on. Mainly South America. What I really think was missing from Destiny was the Darkness being at work in a way that you knew the enemy races in the game couldn't act alone. What drove them here across the galaxy to attack this one race of humans? Why would the Traveler stay and defend these strangers? Homeworld may not answer all the questions but it would show the player how difficult the war was and how much bigger it is than just the humans vs the invaders.

  • http://imgur.com/KrAlehh Trying to get more of a titan out of this instead of a hunter like the last one. Some drapes over the arms for an ongoing effect between the two characters. There use to be horns, but I took those out for a better look in terms of cohesion and not some Japanese demon look. There are various holes on the armor that are like slots for things. I always liked the idea of modular armor and I imagined that for certain areas in missions it may be better to put on certain mods to get through areas.

  • The jungle around the factory is thick. The trees and vegetation have taken back much of the land cleared for pump stations and checkpoints. Along the way there are plenty of dangers. Most unnatural things lurking in caves and lairs scattered strangely near the pipelines. http://i.imgur.com/v3IjKC6.jpg

      • Nice line work dude this looks awesome :) You interested in branching out to any other characters? I'm currently writing a somewhat similar idea (the people living around the larger events of the core Destiny story) and was wanting to eventually find an artist I could work with on some short comic stories. PM me if you'd be interested and keep up the great work!

        • Next is an idea of where the adventure is headed; deep into a South American jungle centered on a golden age mining operation. All records point to it being a massive spinmetal mining operation, that was abandoned after much of it was found to be unusable because of it being tainted to a bright red hue by the rocks it was found buried in. As you go out to the area, the mission is explained en route. Something about these records of why the operation ceased seems off. Only further investigation will produce answers to the questions the Tower and the small scouting group have. http://i.imgur.com/oS9eNkN.jpg
