I would love to see some added utility added to these classes to make them more useful in the raids and serious PvE endgame. Holtzmann had a great idea to make an option to make hammers apply melting point, maybe if you go the scorched earth sunspot build it adds melting point to the burn effect and that way you can melting point bosses that are not melee friendly like Vosik or Warpriest or Templar or Crota. Then make bladedancer better... I don't think that the super is very useful. You can only use it on adds unless you are using it on maybe Aksis, but if you use it on Aksis I am sure it is a huge DPS loss. The armor on the bladedancer is not high enough, a lot of times you will go in and die to a captain or other major tier 2 enemy in a heroic strike, a nightfall, or a raid. So blade dancer could use some buffs in PvE in my opinion, the damage buff in the super patch awhile ago was great, maybe a little bit more armor in PvE to make them more viable. It would be cool if there was a bladedancer exotic that allowed you to double dip in the final talent column to allow you to get both hungering blade and encore.

3 RepliesWeird how there haven't been enough Arc Blade damage buffs, eh?

1 ReplyEdited by Nephilhim: 2/8/2017 12:59:18 PMWith solar burn in heroic strikes, either airborne or brawler means OP Suncharge. Takes down yellow bar ultras in one hit and can solo ultras if you can stun lock them I know it's not endgame content, but still the most fun setup to break suns

11 RepliesYou are my hero. I love you. Can we be best friends? You're the best. I love you. Thank you so much for finally saying that these two subclasses need a huge PvE buff. Did I mention I love you?

3 RepliesBladedancer is like a saiyan going super saiyan thinking that he's all powerful. Charges at the enemies and then punches the enemy and then realizing that the enemy did not even flinched. The enemy then flicks him in the forehead, killing him instantly.

Imo i dont think hammer needs a huge bump. Hammers are basically the titans crowd control super, similar to storm trance and arc blade. I will say blade need some help. Its a crowd control super but due to its unsafe nature, you'll die if you attempt to fight a crowd, and for you to really be able to beat a crowd you need encore which makes the super way more risky without hungering blade. It would be nice to have a exotic to grants either so you kill and survive

Yea. A helmet or something that gives you Encore

I agree with bladedancer needing a buff. I basically only run bladedancer for the invisibility perks. The super feels underpowered. Lately I've been running golden gun with Khepris sting just so I can have somewhat of a strong super while still keeping my invisibility.

2 RepliesI think standard golden gun without celestial nighthawk can be faulty trash as well but blade dancer is terrible in PvE for sure and sun breaker too

1 ReplyEdited by ol azo: 2/8/2017 3:35:40 AMIt shouldn't take more than 2 hammers to kill most majors, and it shouldn't take more than 3 swings to kill most majors. These are add clearing supers. I mean, I guess you could use hammers for dps but you get the point.

Edited by bobswerski: 2/8/2017 3:16:55 PMHammers seem OK to me, suncharge on the Wretched Eye NF a few weeks ago was seriously OP. Bladedancer is just inherently difficult to make good in PvE, unfortunately. I think the best way might be to have a PvE exotic that reduces the energy cost of Razor's edge - maybe you could change Mask of the Third Man to do that because it's kinda useless right now.

Hammers are fine as is but blade needs love
-
5 RepliesHammers are already fine. Allowing every hammer to apply Melting Point is just stupidly OP.
-
All they need to do is add Encore to Mask of the Third Man. I'd use Bladedancer a lot more in PVE with that

1 ReplySunbreaker needs an Armor & agility buff. . . They need to fix suncharge as well 😧 I usually charge at mfs & instead of killing them it pushes them back 😩
