After watching this Video I thought about a Spectating Mode for friends! This would first help this Players to make more Titan Bowl Parts and second we could make betting who will win and stuff like that. Make E-Sports more like watching on a Tv at home (example would be american football; baseball and other kinds of sport!). This Feature would make a lot of fun! But this Mode should only available in every gamemode which isn't Trials or the current Iron Banner Mode.
I hope others agree with my Suggestion! Help me to make it real!
Edit 1: I have read the comments. To all People which wrote "It's called Twitch" or something else in that Way, let us talk about this Statement... Twitch is a Broadcasting Service which grant you the Ability to share YOUR view/perspective to others. They can just see what you see. Now let us talk about a "Spectator Mode". A Spectator Mode is a Player Mode in Games which allows you to fly around the map and watch what other Players do in the game. Some types of this Mode can also locked on the character of the spectated Player. But every View you have is MOSTLY 3rd Person! Not only 1st Person!
So please, stop spaming the Sentence, that it is the same like Twitch.
Edit 2: Read first the Comment from fairweatherfoe before you comment. He said that we wouldn't have really laggy games:
Apparently people do not understand how packet routing works. The host routing gameplay info packets to additional clients would not require additional bandwidth requirements. The host would just have to specify additional clients to send the existing packets to.
Edit 3: Many People suggested since I posted this Thread, that the Spectating Mode should work only for private Matches. That would be the minimum for me.

Not for this game. Definitely for the sequel.

Edited by BIGwillestylz: 2/5/2017 9:00:16 PMIf you still want to play this game, I'm saying you are stupid, but if you want to watch someone else play it I'm saying you should've met the hanger in utero
-
Ive had these idea's since the begining of the game: In the Crucible area at the tower there should be a terminal you can go to that brings up a list of friends doing crucible that you can watch, same with the hall of gaurdians with friends doing strikes The library next to the speaker should have an interface for in game grimoire In the lounge area there should be a jukebox that plays music (they added that 😱probably not because of me though) Upstairs in the main tower area there should be an observation deck where you can look down to the city below

As well as some sort of kill cam and a theater where u can rewatch footage.
-
Twitch is lame. Spectating is lame. All this game needs is an AD kill cam so people can see how they got killed for those "wtf killed me moments".
-
Great idea! But what I really want are kill cams. I bet most kills now a days are complete bs.
-
I gone n pooped again.
glorious almighty Richard
-
I would love to watch from outside of the match... On an unrelated note, check out my montage 😁
-
Personally i think this would be fine to have in private matches only. That way someone doesnt just help their buddy in trials by going spec to see where the snipers are hiding. Unfortunately though many people who play this game have shit connections and like to blame their lag on bungie. Adding spectators means having more connections in a match and this crybaby community would complain and label the feature useless saying it adds more latency.
-
No!! The game is laggy enough and connection bugged enough as it is. I dont want even more beatle or weasel or whateverthe -blam!- code occurrences.
-
Also Playstation has this integrated into the actual platform, I believe it works off of twitch. But Bungie has no reason to implement this if half of their community already has an option to spectate. Xbox One just needs something (they may already have it, I don't know, don't own an xbox)
-
Yea no this game will be dead soon so there's no reason for this I'm sorry to say. Besides with the way it's going if spectator mode was allowed I could see it now so many people just going into an seeing all the lagers reporting them an maybe something gets done about it an something may not. Also turning it into a more or less gambling would be illegal if real money is being placed as a bet. Now if it was like in game glimmer armor guns or other things to be used as bets I'd get behind it.
-
Isn't that what twitch is for? How many ways does the comunity need to watch other people play the game they love?
-
I think it would work better if it was only for private matches. That way, streamers can start classes and tutorials for others.
-
I came and saw your edit, then i bursted laughing. People actually think spectating is the same as twitch?
-
So friends of friends could watch and relay info about where the enemy is? Nah, Crucible has enough problems.
-
Stupidest idea ever.
-
Believe it or not, that's not a related topic
-
Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch, Twitch. I just figured you had not seen the word enough already! :) I think a spectator mode would be cool. Each spectator could be seen as a quadcopter (or whatever those little remote controlled things are called) flying around the arena!
-
I just want a free roam theatre mode
-
Apparently people do not understand how packet routing works. The host routing gameplay info packets to additional clients would not require additional bandwidth requirements. The host would just have to specify additional clients to send the existing packets to.
-
It's called Twitch.
-
Spectator mode would: a) promote information relaying, which is essentially screen looking. This is why spectating is almost all but dead in modern fps. b) need dedicated servers, otherwise red bar spectators would kill the game for actual players since its P2P. Hell, we had dedicated servers on steam for CS, and bungie cant/wont do it.
-
....urrgghhhh?
-
We don't need that
-
In a peer to peer connection game, that's just asking for problems with latency. No Destiny is as advanced as it's going to get with how bad the dev tools are. Destiny2 if it doesn't have dedicated servers than this would still be a bad idea. Stick to twitch or YouTube, as I don't foresee a spectator mode until the Scorpio type console becomes the norm
