Why can't bungo take a page out of Blizzards book Blizzard have said that you never adjust down on the power of items be that armor or weapons they have said always adjust up

Well. As you said, they are going to make some tweaks. With that said. It's just going to be a new meta, as always. I can just about break down the scenario from 2+ years experience. Going off of what they claimed, matador will be tweaked. Not just a blanket nerf to all high impact/ range shotguns. Taking that into account, let's just call it a matador nerf. - matador gets nerfed. So, what now? Everyone is going to rotate to the next best thing. - everyone starts using Party Crasher +1 But what if matador and crasher both received a nerf? - you're going to see snipers being used a lot more. Basically a repeat of y2. We'll see some fusions here and there. Not any more than what we see now, unless they buff them but I don't see that happening. If there's a certain percentage of people using them, they will remain in a neutral state. The real solution is bringing primary weapons up to a certain standard. Making special weapons, well. ..... special. It's been far too easy for over a year to use a special as a primary. Whether it be shotty rushing or sniping lanes. I don't necessarily feel special weapons themselves are the problem. I feel that the amount of special weapon ammo we're able to have is the problem. I feel like maybe another system should be put into affect with how you obtain special ammo. For instance, kill streaks reward special ammo. Playing the objective rewards special ammo, certain medals (both good and bad), etc. Now, for primaries, that's up for debate, I could care less. As I said, the meta is just going to shift to something else. I have god roll weapons waiting to be brought out. So, have fun discussing it. [b]EDIT[/b] The plans for the next update just came out. And it specifically states that they're making changes to special ammo. Now, I'm just waiting for the "I told you so."

It's not matador that's op. It's player movement abilities that make matador seem op. Like titan skating, bunny hoping, blink... It's not shotguns that are the problem. Like you nerf party crasher and matador, two to the morgue will be jsut about as good with a good roll. That gets nerfed? Invective will rule. I'm jsut going to say, nerfing matador won't do anythjng. They need to make a buff for primaries. I liked it in y1 where shotguns snipers were really good, but primaries were also really good, so there wasn't an obligation to warrior as much. Fusions and sidearms needed a buff though.

You must be new here. Allow me to explain something. Bungie has always said they arent goinf to nerf something. Then when the patch drops they ended up nerfing it anyways.

Still waiting on that fusion rifle nerf.....
