How did hitman win even 1? That's probably the worst way I can think of to release a game.

I completely disagree. The Hitman rollout was awesome. Releasing them individually allowed you to have time to experience everything each map had to offer, if you chose to.

So releasing an incomplete game is OK nowadays?

That's totally a misrepresentation of what happened. They were up front about their delivery format, and you could buy them as you go if you wanted to. Each episode was worth more than the price of admission if you chose to go that route.

But that doesn't change the fact that they released an incomplete game

And that's fine. Hell, its the way it should have been done. It worked out perfectly for them.

Edited by Bake8935: 1/13/2017 6:23:32 PMThe waits were never that long. They released all 6 episodes, two bonus levels, and a ton of elusive targets within 9 months. It was the perfect roll out imo. Kept the game feeling fresh.
