Is there also an invisible wall stopping you landing on the ledge? If so i seen that chest and tried opening it loads of times in the air, didn't even ask me to hold square to open it, was odd.

On top of the wall on the right side just before you enter the building that leads to the forge?

Lol, yep, tried many times to get up there and open it. Bungie's bad spawn locations at work. There's a relic iron spot on mars that does the same thing occasionally.
