..using Clever Dragon and Matador 64? Everytime I die to a flawless emblem wearing Guardian, they're using the typical meta set up? I'm curiously intrigued. Is change difficult for some?
For me, the exact same load out becomes extremely monotonous. It's mind numbing. People are free to use whatever they deem necessary, but sheesh.
Maybe I'm expecting too much? Don't get me wrong, it's extremely satisfying to win rumble matches with obscure weapons or to top a crucible match with oddball weapons and load outs.
I enjoy the meta, because I feel like I've always gone against it. The Suros Regime meta, I was using non-auto rifles. The Thorn meta, I was using Hopscotch Pilgrim. (Yeah, when it reigned terror) The Felwinter's meta, I was still using fusion rifles. The Last Word meta, I was using High Road Soldier. The MIDA meta, I was using Hawkmoon. The Clever Dragon, I am using a mixture of all weapon types.
Just curiosity is killing the cat. What say you, flawless Guardians? Are they just weapons that you enjoy? They just feel right? Or do you only feel like you stand a chance with these weapons? Or does it just work with the load out you enjoy? Plays well with your play style? Does it compliment your gear choice?
Let me know for I am curious.

It kills me that there is even a meta in a game that is supposed to be about variety. Although I do have an insane disgust for the matador and snipe shotties in general, I don't blame anyone for using them. I blame Bungie for creating the situation and lazy, prideful attitude when it comes to addressing and fixing the issue.
-
It's because bungie has made the pvp meta pulse rides and jugg shotty. Any thing else is like trying to kill your opponents with sh*t scraped out of the toilet. And then it's the cancerous players who can't do good other wise. Clever Dragon is op no way around it.
-
They use it because it works the best?
-
Probably because they don't want to be on the bottom of the team with emblem equipped. Idk. Idc. I use CD but sometimes I like to switch it up and use Shadow Price or a scout. Always running a fusion rifle. The Vacancy is my baby right now.
-
It's a video game. People can use whatever the hell they want, get over it bud lol
-
They're using it because it works.
-
Hopscotch is still pretty respectable at mid to long range. And most drop being able to hit max stability.
-
If i wear it I'm usually using the ToO scout and a plan C
-
Clever dragon is overrated... I don't find it easy to use.

I have the emblem... I don't use it. Makes me look like a douche. And i dont like using the same weapons all the time. I recently started side arms and they're pretty fun. Scouts and autorifles are my favorite. Fusions are love too. Matador.... Is only when i want the try hards to die.
-
For some reason I get triggered whenever I see a guy who's gone flawless with a jugganaut and matador striker Titan. It just annoys me as Flawless is meant for skilled players, not idiots with a shield skating around the map with a matador.

I hate using the same damn gun... it's just pointless. Makes the whole game stupid. I would rather play CoD or Battlefield if I wanted to use the same damn gun all the time.
-
I don't understand why people don't use the meta because it's available to them, do they think there being "respectable" or something.
-
I would use those weapons, if I had any! Never lucky D:
-
It's because they can't get to the lighthouse without the meta weapons and they have to rely on them to even dream about getting past 3 wins
-
Not me...
-
Because its the best weapon set out there. It's mindlessly easy to use and takes absolutely no skill. Pair it up with stormcallers with amplified and jugg titan skating shottie warriors and you have yourself an easy flawless run. This is pretty much all you'll see especially on your 8th game. Trials is super competitive so people will use whatever is best and until the weapon balance is pushed through, this is all you're gonna see.

I wear it and don't use it
-
Clever Dragon + Mapador = No skill
-
Most of the people wearing flawless actually suxk, in my experience. As in, literally, they seemingly lack thumbs.
-
Why you being an emblemist? Tons of people use Clever+Matador without using the flawless emblem, why not hate on them too?
-
How does it not make sense to use an effective weapon to have the advantage? Would have thought it'd be easy to understand. Note: I know there are also really good players who don't use he meta.
-
I'm using Hawksaw... Still... from the first pulse Meta... I don't like change.
