6 RepliesWith me, its less about which way a fictional character swings, but more of we dont need to know about it. If Tracer was a character in a bioware game, yeah, that info would be most likely relevant and well received. In a game like Overwatch, though.. Its more like unnecessary info.

11 RepliesI would have been totally fine with tracer being gay if it wasn't 2016, the only reason they made her gay was to pander to the LGBT part of the community because they just complained that they wanted a gay character, and the worst part is they kinda just threw it at our face and left. I highly doubt that they decided she was gay while making the character.

It seems unnecessary to me. I don't hate it, don't like it. I just don't think it's necessary for any reason. Unless each hero's sexuality makes an effect on the gameplay, it shouldn't have been created. I don't care that she's gay, or that torbjorn has a wife, and if they want it to matter, they should make it have a reason to matter in game.
