Allow Radiance to buff the effects of a viking funeral. Make the damage buff more potent, and last longer when in Radiance and after using the super. (Grenades thrown during Radiance still get the more potent Viking funeral even though Radiance ended.) There useful.

Song of flame should do healing to allies so self Res isnt the ONLY option
-
2 RepliesSunsinger Warlock- Solar Grenades, Viking Funeral, and Touch of Flame with Sunbreakers. Loads of boss damage.

Song of flame needs a buff

Warlocks are great to have in raids, i must admit though, i love telling my ckanmates who run warlocks thatbwarlocks are butthole and they should use a hunter. All in good fun though!
-
1 ReplyLeave the extra damaging too Hunters. Warlock's part in raids is add control it may not seem cool to on add control ,but storm caller is the best for it and sunsingers can make a lot of orbs ,so in my eye's warlock is all ready useful in raids

21 RepliesThe real question is, how do we make Bladedancer a decent option in PvE without the modifiers having to be Arc Burn/Brawler to warrant use? Have you ever seen a raid group ask for a Bladedancer? NOPE. No one wants us because apparantly we are outclassed by the "godly" Nightstalker. Does no one remember the good old days of when Bladedancers used to come and rez all of you in the heat of battle? Sunsingers, Bladedancers, and Defenders were the go-to PvE subclasses. Now it's only Sunsinger and Defender. It's sad that no one wants Bladedancers anymore. I want to feel useful and needed again.

Just go voidwalker... :p

1 ReplyIf you think Warlocks are useless in Raids your set up probably needs adjusting, as i Main a Warlock and i use the Storm trance Subclass in wrath of the machine and i can usually finish it with no real issues. Just try using all 3 warlock sub classes and tweak the perks on them until you can find the right set up that works best for you, it will take some time but it's well worth doing it in the end.

Warlocks are plenty useful in Raids. People that think otherwise don't know how to play a lock. I play all three... all 9 subclasses have their uses. Learn everything about every subclass. The key: try new things. Use a Gunslinger with Celestial Nighthawk... Void walker with Lance... Sunbreaker with melting point and Insurmountable Skullfort. Stop using "x" because "that's what Joe Joe the wonder streamer uses".
-
Sorry but Warlocks are already useful in the raid. I've never seen nor have I ever turned a Warlock away from joining a raid, especially on Heroic.
-
2 RepliesWarlocks can take risks other classes can't. Besides that, git gud and nuke captains/big groups of adds and make orbs.
-
if you don't know how to be useful as a warlock in the raid, you should stop raiding. they are useful in every encounter, if you know what you are doing.
-
I never get the hatred for Warlocks in raids! I love playing as my sunsinger warlock. I feel so much more confident because I do have that "extra life"! Biggest issue I see in raids is people dying. nothing more frustrating than doing Aksis challenge, and you're on the last portion and you hear "Guardian down!" and then "Guardian down!" again. first thought in my mind is: "hope they are Warlocks!"
-
7 RepliesWarlocks are only "useless" to people who don't know how to use them. Warlocks are DAMAGE oriented classes. They provide support through the DEALING of damage. The people who whine constantly about "Warlocks being useless in the raid" are those who want to be a "support" class....and play in a passive way. Well.....Both Sunsingers and Stormcallers are just as good at orb-generation as Nightstalkers....and I consider COMING BACK FROM THE DEAD AND PREVENTING A TEAM WIPE.... ...to the be ultimate form of "support".

Or... press start and switch characters to one that doesn't use a cheeseball super. Enjoy.

2 RepliesIf you think warlocks aren't useful you're using them wrong.

What if solar flares stuck to whatever it was thrown at when it is thrown under radiance? That would be amazing

1 ReplyEdited by LTCcherno: 12/6/2016 12:12:57 AMAnyone who says they aren't useful us terrible at the raid. Probably the same people who think the empowered are absolutely not allowed to grab cannons. Touch of Flame, Viking Funeral, fusion grenades. Pop it after you hear the first tether go off, and start chucking. You will watch Aksis' and Vosik's health plummet.
-
My warlock is a Dps machine for Aksis. Viking funeral, sunbreakers. 4,000,000 damage AT A MINIMUM.
-
1 ReplyIf you are 100/100% intell/dis with sun breakers... And actually use your super instead of a retry ability... You are crazy useful. Hell soloing middle lane on aksis is brainless, just keep a glowing sun down. Pop radiance then keep suns down all 3 lanes. Orb factory middle gents if anyone needs em. Not to mention in phase 1 the ability to fill the two holes the shanks fall from abs let your team dance while you watch the world burn. Or on phase 1 the ability to drop a sun on the turret while you do your thing and basically ignore it. It's just... You can't be afraid you actually use your ability and use it often vs hoarding it.

3 RepliesBest option that makes warlocks a killer asset: click start, then right bumper; when it says change character, choose the one that wears a cape. Everyone will be impressed.
-
8 RepliesEdited by chickengoujohn93: 12/6/2016 9:57:00 AMOr how about the guys who sit on their Radiance maybe use Tlaloc and Memory of Skorri? I see more Hunters use Memory of Skorri than any other class and there are tethers flying everywhere making the benefits of the artifact negligible. Not that using tethers is a bad thing.

4 RepliesEdited by Casual: 12/5/2016 1:09:33 PMHow to make a warlock useful in Raids. -Turn on Destiny -Delete warlock -Create a badass Titian -Be useful in a raid

Edited by ThePerfectPixl: 12/5/2016 7:03:15 PMI think Warlocks are plenty useful in raids. Sunsinger can buff teammates, save themselves from death, or murder bosses with Radiance. Stormcaller is amazing for clearing enemies and generating Orbs of Light, and Voidwalkers can spam grenades and use their Super to obliterate high-priority targets.
-
I used Voidwalker for Vosik challenge last night. It was so much fun throwing axion bolts and Nova Bombs into adds and captains.

Warlocks aren't useless in raids.
