I got a real nice Clever Dragon on PS4 last Iron Banner. Hoping to get a good roll on Xbox, or just pick up the vendor one. Thanks for the feedback on this weapon. We will take it into consideration.

if anything needs a nerf its mida multi tool used more than clever dragon dont nerf it but there are better options for players to choose from than clever dragon with iron banner atm there will be players using it same as when omnigil is weekly nightfall grasp of malok is all over the place

Lol i can name many weapons that outgun the clever dragon , dont see why people moan about a weapon so much that it gets nerfed into the ground happens to often upsetting the balance ingame

Best vendor roll since the Nirwens pulse rifle dropped. This is the standard that should be expected. Also the palindrome drop from crucible guy. You should push for rotation in tower vendors stock on a monthly basis. Allow great rolls and easy access for anyone. This iron banner was great and back to its control roots. No dirty rift matches. If only we could get back our original iron banner reforge........

Clever dragon is great, but it has made all other pulse rifles obsolete. Although people don't want a nerf, does it make sense that this one pulse rifle is stronger than all the others? I can't even pull out any other primary weapons because of the amount flinch the clever dragon inflicts onto me. On top of that, it has amazing range. Something needs to be done to balance the primaries.

It does, however it is also still forced to trade. The ttk on a pulse that's slightly higher RoF should not be usable over as much of a range as all other pulse rifles. Lessen the effective range at least and increase damage drop-off to ensure people don't stop getaway with those ranged encounters. Force people to use the weapon as intended. At least lower the effectiveness of the range increasing perks for the high RoF pulse rifles. This being said, I mean Hawksaw style as well. They have been prominent throughout year 2 and now. #bringbacksparechange

Keep in mind that whenever new weapons are introduced and become widely available of course usage will increase. Give it a couple weeks and people will get bored with it and go back to their favorites. Also sometimes I think people blame the weapons instead of realizing that other players can be op. Give a highly skilled player any type of weapon with a good roll and watch out.

Just like everything else in this game it has a counter. Far too many people start to take damage and try returning fire while they are still taking damage. Get to cover and then start firing again.

try the The Waltz , Future War Cults primary's are good ive outgun many clever dragons with this gun

Yes, thank you Coz. Overused doesn't mean OP, it just means other guns should be buffed to compete with it. Specials are already a problem,but if you guys buff primaries all round so they can kill as quickly/efficiently as the Clever Dragon, that would be a step in the right direction.

Why not a solid legitimate idea to bring back multiple players who are taking leaves from the game more often, like a primary all around buff, to each set to make them as they were in year 1, a good primary weapon meta, making them dependable and each arcehtype usable in their own ways, and back to their own power, something to compete with.

Gun doesn't need a nerf in my humble opinion. They say red death is in a bad place but that's what I main in the crucible lately and I have no complaints. Against clever dragon or matador or anything else. Sometimes I die. And sometimes what kills me is a shotgun or that "new meta pulse rifle". Ok. Moving on.
