This has been on my mind since the announcement of Destiny 2. Being a player since the beta, 2 concerns have come up about the upcoming release: 1) Will our characters, weapons, etc. transfer over to the new game? And 2) Will it be a separate game or a full game, at full game price, as a major DLC expansion to the existing game? My concerns with characters and gear is that I've worked so hard on all 3 of my characters and restarting from scratch ruins not only the experience but the "Become Legend" motto of Destiny. Also, with the DLC/Disc question, as an avid game player and a student of Video Game Design, I know how quickly an older game becomes a memory and is visited less and less. I wish to see Destiny 2 as a major DLC release because it not only keeps the game consistent, but it also allows players to revisit old activities such as Vault of Glass, Crota's End, etc. These are just some of my concerns and hope that these "wishes" can be achieved.
