Bungie , you have the ability to put in messages that pop up when people sign into characters. It happened when Festival of the Lost went live, and when other things go live.
Would it really be that hard to remember that not everyone uses twitter religiously? The help forum is being swamped by people complaining about trials not working because they can't revive and there's no radar.
Would it really have been that difficult to put a notification in-game so people would have much more chance to see what's going on instead of sticking it completely off-site?
In the future, please include it in a splash screen, so people at least have a chance to see it without needing to refer to 15 different locations in order to find out what's going on. There's every different subforum, twitter, website updates, and everything else. Not everyone checks them daily, hourly, by the minute, or even ever.
It makes it considerably more difficult to help people on the forum that are having actual issues when their posts get pushed off the front "New" page by people complaining about something they could have known about if you had only put the information in the game.
Yes, I know not everyone would read the splash screen of the information, either, but there wouldn't be quite as many people complaining about a non-issue like it's an issue.
