Can I ask a question? I'm assuming you are not Japanese. If you're in the military I know why you're having this issue.

questions are always welcome :) though i don't know what point are you trying to make? (and also who would downvote a normal question?) In any case, no, i am not Japanese, I am not in the military, actually working in the video game industry, and I even have an american account so for me buying Silver is not a problem (ignoring for the moment the issue that locking stuff behind microtransactions pose). i just have enough empathy to care for my friends here, who were looking forward to this and were left with utter disappointment. So decided doing something is better than doing nothing, so wrote on a forum and here we are..

Well I don't want to waste your time. I lived in Japan for 10( military) for a while I couldn't buy anything off psn.

you not wasting my time mate, its all good :) yeah, the japanese psn is infamously horrendous, plus on top of that, the prices are off the charts. a $60 title sells for about $80-$90 here...
