This is not his primary weapon, and most importantly, [i]it was not the weapon he was using when he went into the Temple of Crota and met Xyor.[/i] 2) There's been a fair amount of speculation below about other weapons of sorrow. It all depends on the definition, though Invective is obviously not a weapon of sorrow, it's a Cassoid shotgun modifed by Ikora Rey. If you take the "traditional" definition, which is 'human weapons corrupted by the Hive', only Thorn and Necrochasm fit that. [b]They are also the only ones specifically confirmed as such in the grimoire.[/b] I don't think we can include Black Spimdle (Hammer, it's the same weapon) because in that case we would theoretically have to include [u]all[/u] of the Crota's end [i]and[/i] King's Fall weapons, and I think that's taking it too far. Now, if you want to talk "dark" weapons that are somehow related to the Hive, we can consider two more: Bad Juju and Touch of Malice. - Bad Juju: Made by Toland, emulating Hive magic. So I guess it's more like a knockoff weapon of sorrow. - Touch of Malice: Made by Eris, but obviously [url=http://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/calcified-fragments-insight]designed by Oryx[/url], at least indirectly. So I think if you wanted to expand the definition to include ToM, I can live with that. Edit 2: Hadn't thought of Murmur. I'm not sure. Has a similar design to Necrochasm, of course, but it's not an exotic so there's no grimoire on it. And the title does say (and always has) "at least", so [b]I'm not excluding the existence of other Weapons of Sorrow, ffs.[/b] That's not even close to the point of this thread.
