Because why not indulge in some OP play? I would love to see a crucible match type (or as an option for some PVE missions) where guardians could spray and play with dual wield sidearms in exchange for no grenades or a trickle melee/super charge. I know it's been done before with Halo, but seeing a hunter roll out of a shadestep unloading two sidearms would be devastating!!

4 RepliesThey should introduce in Destiny 2. Let it continue into Destiny 3. Get rid of it in Destiny ODST. Forget about it forever starting with Destiny: Reach

Or maybe make it an attribute to certain side arms

Error 404: relation to Lore not found

That'd be amazing but crucibabies would ruin it.

Edited by Furiously Dashing: 10/28/2016 5:19:31 PMIt should be an exotic sidearm. Kills twice as fast as one sidearm. But the reload would take forever. SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIENDS! *pewpewpewpewpewpew* (Why is this page in "lore"?)

Dual sidearms but you get no primary weapon and can only use special ammo

Why is this in Lore?

How is this lore?

1 Replyyeah an when you run out of ammo it shocks your hand and you throw them like overwatch.... smh NOT! don't need that filth here

7 RepliesMaybe under certain strict conditions: 1. Must have two sidearms of same type and element. 2. Aiming is also impossible. You can't sight in two guns at once. No "firing from hip" bunuses. 3. Reloading is much slower. So is equipping. 4. No grenades or melee can be used, though they remain charged. Super is unaffected. 5. Carried ammo capacity is reduced 25%, meaning you run out of ammo fast.

1 Replyu do know it takes most side arms just 5 shots at its appropriate range, and with its range and rate of fire, it would easily top all other special and primary weapons and even compete with machine guns. the current time to kill for the majority of side arms are 0.5-0.6. Dual wield would cut that by half making the time to kill to 0.25 which is almost equivalent to machine guns. of course, assuming it doesn't have ADS, the hip fire on side arms are pretty good as it is, so this idea does sound awesome, but it would ruin the weapon balance and most likely become the ultimate meta.

Ahhh seeing this brings me back to the days of yore......and dual-wield Needlers that wrecked EVERYTHING. Suddenly I'm in the mood for some MCC.

I think it would be cool to have an exotic that is dual wield sidearms, but the drawback is they take both your primary and special weapon slots.
-
2 RepliesI posted an idea for this months back. Make a primary exotic sidearm and a legendary normal sidearm as a set. When both equipped they make dual weild, but you'd lose that other slot for (shotgun, snipe, etc). While both equipped it gives you increased slide distance, bonus to accuracy while in air, and some boost to range. I had names for the shit in my post, but can't remember. It was like "Twin Vipers" exotic perk or something like that.

1 ReplyBungie should do that but make it so you can't melee while using them

That would be a great private match mode. Dual Trespassers for everyone.
