Getting lower light Exotics than your overall light & equipped items
This happened to me twice! Not sure there is a bug, glitch or what...
First time it was a special weapon. Was a overall 392 and my equipped special was at 394. Decrypted the exotic engram and it dropped at 391. Infused it into another legendary special and it went to 392. Weird but figured it was a glitch.
Until the second time.
Finished my weekly crucible bounty. Was at overall 393 and my equipped helmet was at 394 also. Turned in the bounty and was pleased that I got a exotic helmet. Well, it dropped at 391!!
What gives?!?!
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to fix this?? Thanks.

Edited by RORYWAN13: 10/26/2016 7:17:41 AMIt's deliberate. And it's the worst decision Bungie have made since year 1 light mechanics. It made me rage quit. 12 exotics all at 398, my current light level. 4 at 397. So I tried the Skeleton key hoard chest, 4 of them. Same problem. All at current light. Same with crucible drops. Nothing above my light level. The only thing that does work is archon's forge. But now that I have a 400 ghost, class and Artifact that's done too. So thanks Bungie. You made me put the controller down. Done.
