Last Festival of the Lost I remember getting a bunch of blue mask and deciding which one to keep if you didn't want to pay money... this new model sucks.

It's worse than that Thank to bungie for taking the fun out of the event bungie by taking away the masks from the candy bags that's kind of sucked the fun out of repeatelty filling the bag.

You can turn in filled bags for masks at Eva.

You only get a small section no chance at getting the masks everyone wants so I just keep a bag filled for the prince mask and do the quest when go play something else.

I don't control the masks they drop. All I know is that they did microtransactions, but you can get some masks.

EXACTLY! The whole point was filling them over and over for a mask you wanted! Why the hell would I want a stack of jackolytes? Where is the reward for going to the tower every 5 minutes of game play? I'm SO done with events... next they are going to make it so you have to pay silver dust to play any sparrow races. Bunch of garbage

Not for any of the new masks dummy. Just the speaker, cryptarch, and crota. All year 2 masks. They don't change either. They are making us collectors spend even more money just to get everything.

Then don't say "Well you can turn them in for masks" like that's a fix. I don't want 3 old masks that I already own. I want the NEW GEAR that you are supposed to be able to EARN. Why do you think they got rid of paper glue? So the ONLY way to get new masks were through treasures of the lost. FORCING a taller pay wall for us collectors to deal with.

Then stop spreading misinformation around forums like "You can turn in bags for masks". This makes new people think that they can get all of the masks but actually just year 2 ones and only 3 of them. The point is that it's finally happened that collectors now can't get 100% of everything without money.

Just because you, a veteran player, has all the ones she sells, doesn't mean that a new player does. They might want them. I was 100% correct. You're just upset because Bungie is doing what every game company has done: make microtransactions.

Yeah they will probably take away the horns and make it so you can only get them by paying for them.

everybody just chill :) its all good. some people don't know the restraints of the current bag filling. no reason to get wordy :) but yeah, kinda sucks that in this event, pretty much everything everyone wants, is locked behind Silver. Shame. And not a fan of the message this is sending...
