Y'all shouldn't do this based on principle. Microtransactions are ruining games. A DLC is one thing but stuff that has no effect on gameplay is ludicrous to buy. I'm not saying you're wasting money bcuz what is it, just a few dollars here and there? But you're supporting a scam. I stopped supporting scams a long time ago and everyone here should do the same.

GTA V Halo 5 CS:GO Overwatch (should have been F2P) All successful games that aren't F2P and have microtransactions. So why can't Destiny do it if others do it?
-
I bet bungie made more money off this than destiny release day
-
Microtransactions should've never existed in this game but I only hope that the money bungo receives goes towards Destiny 2
-
Anyone ever just want to oh-so-gently nudge someone off their soapbox?
-
I read this in the voice of a hillbilly. Also, if someone wants to spend their own money of something just let them, it isn't hurting your wallet in any way.
-
I agree completely, just because it is harmless now doesn't mean it won't become harmful in the future. Don't be do short sighted!!
-
Don't see how it's a scam. And it's no pay to win. That's what is ruining games
-
Make it shut up please.
-
It isn't a scam you shill. It is a well known fact that if I buy silver, I will get a specific item or one that is RNG. Thats not a scam...
-
It's not a scam.People can buy whatever they want.Nobody is forced to buy anything.

"I'm not saying you're wasting money. I'm just saying, in a superior way, that I'm better than you and you're wasting money"

I only did it on the last week that radiant treasures was a thing, I got 3 free a week for however many months and only got the helmet that whole time and wanted the emote. I guess now you can't get it even if you get a fill set now

You're true Gaurdian Angle! - old
As long as its cosmetic and does not ruined the experience of others, I'm okay with spending a few bucks. But if they -blam!-ing do like in CoD with weapons in supply drops then hell no! -
Absolutely... spend all you want on cosmetic items. But nothing that is pay to win! I confess, I sunk some money so I could get the ornaments and whatnot, my choice.... I still suck.... but hey - I'll look sweet dyin'!
-
I have no issue with it other than the fact that it causes so much cancerous behavior in the community and bungie focuses on it more than actually making quality content.

Nothxkbye

I actually prefer digital things to materialistic items, views will always be mixed on this subject. I see both arguments.
-
It's there money, they can do whatever they want with it
-
It's only a scam if you're tricked into paying. That's why scams are illegal and immoral. At least this way YOU have the power and YOU make the choice. It's all a matter of preference.
-
No, we are supporting a game we love and play a ton of and some of us like gambling, especially for meaningless shit like sparrows and ghosts. Chill out or mind your own business. Either one works. Btw, look up the definition of the word, 'scam'. You're not using right.

With all microtransactions, there should always be a way to get the same items by grinding or spending your time. That way people with money and people with time both win. As of right now, only the people with lots of disposable income have the chance to get all the new items. If people dont get the things they are looking for in the 1~3 free boxes, there is no way to spend your time instead money to get more. they now have to spend money to try and get them. Where as people who have the money technically have unlimited chances, depending on how much they want to spend.

I said the same thing and the ninjas remove my comment saying it violate the code of conduct.
