For people who help others through the raid

What are things that you look for when deciding what teams to help? What are things that annoy you? What are things that you like to see in raid teams you opt to help? I've seen a lot of people complaining about others not willing to help, I've always been of the mindset that the person has the choice of if they want to help. My goal of this post is to get a conversation going so people who are looking for help can see what players are looking for as they decide to help others. ***This is not meant as an advisement to carry*** ***If you disagree with something posted its okay, just keep it respectful***

  • The ability to listen and do as instructed is very helpful, but the ability to learn from your mistakes is fantastic. With Heroics dropping up to 385, it doesn't hurt if you're at least around 370 for normal, though I have got a team through that had 2 355s on it. (If you don't have the patience to grind some strikes to level up, you probably don't have the patience to raid with a virgin group). And the ability to ask for help/advice when needed is a great thing. Most important advice for WotM... use your bloody supers on the captains!!! Don't save them for the boss, there are enough damage phases on both bosses that they can be beaten without tethers or weapons of light. But if the captains keep killing you, you need to change your strategy. (Second most important, the raid chest piece with the half damage perk is insanely useful for the heroic Vman. My favourite thing on the weekend just gone was when I ran forward to grab a bomb and Vman hit me in the chest with his scorch cannon, I jumped back and could see the thing charging on my chest... BOOM... dead. LOL). A couple of years practice with Sonic or Mario for the jumping sections certainly doesn't hurt either.
