Yeah I had this literally last week on my Hunter. I was wearing the shader (The Hanged Man), emblem (Omen of Chaos II) and class armour (Endling Cloak) and nothing was registering. So I changed them around a bit – The Nowhere, Omen of The Exodus and Heliopause Cloak and hey presto it worked. And from what I'm reading here now it's obviously something wrong with yr 3 stuff

Hey there, Some of the Year 3 (Rise of Iron) Faction class items are not properly registering for the Exotic Faction class item quests. Bungie is aware of this issue and actively investigating for a fix. Do you happen to have any Year 2 Faction class items or a Faction [u]Spektar[/u] variant class item? The Year 2 and Spektar class items are not affected by this issue. If you do not have any, you can still possibly receive a Spektar class item from ranking up and opening a [b]Chroma[/b] Armor package for the given Faction.
