Destiny: Memory Wipe Book One Chapter One
INTRODUCTION: The story of Titan Ander-13 and his team of Guardians, the Vagabonds; Warlock Exon-11 and Hunter Jed Hayes. This story takes place after Toland's fire team is lost to the Hive, after the Twilight Gap, after the defeat of the Iron Lords, after Sux Fronts. After Kabr was lost to the Vault. After the Golden Age. After the Collapse. After the Creation of the universe (duh). And yet, before the events we hate to love and love to hate. Before Destiny.
"What kind of hunter can't shoot a squirrel?" shouted Exon-11 as he glided down from the abandoned airplanes. He touched down next to Jed, pulling out his MIDA Multi-Tool. "The kind that doesn't eat," replied Jed, hand cannon raised. A pitifully thin squirrel had stopped to stare in a dirt Cosmodrome road, admiring the shiny armor of the Hunter. "Well, just kill it then. Odds are good that the Vanguard have a goddamn bounty on it," replied Exon. Suddenly, a large form came out of the fuselage of the plane, his gun slung over his shoulder. "Shut up about the squirrel," said Ander-13 in his gravelly Exo tones. "We're all clear. I don't know why the Speaker still has us coming here." Looking bored, he held out his palm. A deep blue Ghost materialized in front of him. "Where are we headed now?" inquired the Ghost. "Get our ships," the Titan said tersely as he cocked his Häkke Izdubar-D auto rifle. "Right away." The three Guardians casually strolled down the path, bound by a mutual sense of companionship unknown to most Guardians. They were the Vagabonds- famous for their exploits beyond the walls of the City, and idolized for their rough-and-tumble personalities. Even the Vanguard acknowledged them (however grudgingly). As the merry three clambered into their ships, they felt a sense of pride and hunger. A hunger for justice. A pride in their Light. Little would they know, soon the name of the Vagabonds would mean much more to the City than just a few tough guys playing soldier.
EDIT: Feel free to comment. Tell me what you think, what I did wrong, and suggestions.
